Cleanliness service quality.. its fairly clean.. service is terribly slow which is a bit rubbish as most of the people are in transit from the a303..i have just walked out as queues were long and no sign of movement Quality is let down by underportioning the french fries. Summary ..mangement need a kick up the backside and get the staff hustling and the queues moving. Seen more life in an old peoples home

In a high street that doesnt have too much variety these days a book shop is always welcome. After browsing on a rainy Saturday afternoon I decided to buy "Stockwins Maritime Miscellany" for a quiet read and addition to my boat library this summer. Always nice to know there is a dedicated bookshop on the high street.

Oh..nearly missed this one. Been going here on and off for 22 years with family and london friends. Was always good for food although sundays if you didnt arrive between 11.50 & 12.30 .you would miss lunch or have a long wait. Now its been done up my wife and uncle went on a week day. sadly I have been informed never to go there.. Service was a disaster. But imagine still a good place to have a pint.. Don't always have to eat when going to the pub.

Have known this pub on and off for 45 years. Service was slow when I recently went. Food average.
