Even a relatively minor oil spill on B.C.'s coast would overwhelm oil spill response resources: that's what civil servants told the incoming B.C. Environment Minister Mary Polak.

No kidding! The B.C. government made it clear in their submission to the Enbridge review panel that even if we had all the money and resources in the world, when crude oil hits the water, there's nothing you can do.
