I posit that only now are we beginning to feel the latent effects of the technological revolution.  8+% unemployment and jobs-a-plenty in technology would seem to be counter intuitive.  I wonder what happened to all the people whose employment value was derived from menial and manual labor when the mechanical and industrial revolutions occurred?  I have an answer, but I don't want to be cynical.

Very spacious rooms, friendly staff. Great location, relatively quiet part of French quarter. WiFi and parking are expensive, but in line with other French quarter hotels.

Well furnished rooms with IKEA like decor. Comfortable furniture. Very clean. Downsides are that the towels are scratchy and thin and the breakfast was nothing special (and pricy).
