Definitely some of the best food I've had in San Francisco. The chef was very accommodating of special diets and made a special vegan plate for me. Extensive wine list with some great cocktails too. A great place for a group dinner or a date, but book far in advance -- they're always busy!

My roommates and I were lucky to get in without a reservation! Dining here is an experience. Service may seem slow, but it's the type of atmosphere where you should enjoy the food and company. I'd love to come back for brunch.

I was here for lunch and was quite underwhelmed. The OJ was fine, fresh squeezed and the hot chocolate wasn't very hot and was a tad too sweet. I had the bourbon braised pork which was fine (B) and the custard french toast that were fine (B+). I will go back to taste their famous burger but not anytime soon.

This is my favorite restaurant in San Francisco right now. I made a reservation on Open Table but they gave up my table because I was late trying to find parking in Alamo Square. This wasn't a problem though because I was able to find seating at the bar fairly quickly. My favorite dish of the night was the creamed corn. The fried broccoli and crostini with pear and cheese were great dishes as well. I wouldn't recommend the paparadelle. I'll have to come back and try the pork chop and desserts!

Oh my gosh soooo good! The cocktails were divine, try The Summit! The apps were great. A wonderful place for apps and cocktails or a date! Plus they're open late, for SF.

Probably my favorite restaurant in the city or tied with Foreign Cinema in the Mission. I have never had a bad experience here. Do your best to get a reservation because this place is fully booked even on weeknights. I came recently on a Tuesday night at midnight and there was still a 15 minute wait for a table. The menu here at NOPA is seasonal, so dishes will come and go, and meat choices will run out as well the further into the night. They were out of their New York Steak, King Salmon, and Porchetta last time I was here. Their burger and pork chop are usual staples however, and both are delicious. Love their seasonal cocktails as well, my go to is typically the Sunshine Fix. Pros: - beautiful space with gorgeous high ceilings. Includes bar and chefs bar that overlooks the kitchen. - food is always stellar, and they consistently have new and exciting seasonal dishes. - serves both brunch and dinner, have not had a chance to try their brunch yet. - always get the NOPA burger the first time, share this along with another main. Have it cooked medium rare. Cons: - definitely a pricey meal, but worth every penny. - always a long wait, unless you snag a reservation. - dessert doesn't always impress, like the rest of the menu. - street parking can be difficult to find.
