It is sad to see so much happening around us. Perhaps Ship builders should rethink about how vessels are designed, extra bouyancy hulls could be built either side of a ship so that when the main hull has been compromised, the vessel will stay afloat awaiting rescue teams to get to the stricken ship. Blessings to those lost at sea.

Rather than just running a thermostat controller, think about setting up complete electrical systems for households whereby Google Engineers not only monitor the power usage of appliances, they also offer energy savings to each client and the environment.

For a nominal cost ("with discounts"), home owners can go to work knowing full too well that everything at home, is as it should be.

It would give peace of mind to every client, knowing that their home is Safe.

You could send a daily graph describing power consumption levels and through your controllers, explain where the savings stem from, by the moderators looking out for their best Interests.

As I had made myself homeless on the streets of Perth ib 2011, I was ordering a meal one night at Hungry Jack's in William Street. A well dressed business man tried in vain to use his credit card to buy food on that night but it failed every time he tried using it. I intervened and paid for his order. He asked me where I lived and I replied, everywhere. I then opened up and told him I was on a journey of self discovery. He was an executive financier with the NAB and he invited me back to the Wentworth Hotel where I slept on the carpet. When I awoke in the morning, he left twenty dollars and a note. The note said that the room had been fully paid for by the Melbourne Office and I was welcome to stay there for another two days. All of this culminated from one act of random kindness by me. It is a lesson we all should master, every person deserves a helping hand when times get tough. Frank Burns

When this was the Sheraton Perth Hotel, my wife and I stayed here on the top floor for six weeks. During which time, we donated roughly $80,000 to be added into a "Pool" where all staff recieved a salary boost under management by Debra Watts. Gaining a discount on the total period of our stay, I wrote a blog asking all guests staying in the Merridian Hotels across the globe to add to our donation, for the purpose of saving a few hundred children from starvation whilst we were being pampered with 5 star luxury. The response was overwhelming, the King of Nepal posted hundreds of marketing links to me, and by just adding my name, they offered to send %40 of all their sales profits. I simply gave those links away to an employee who migrated back to Singapore. Shiek Rasheed Bin Al Maktoum opened a SIRIUS account, donating $250,000 of their currency, (roughly $250AU) which I never used. On my voyage of self discovery in 2010, whilst coming to grips with what it felt like to be poor and hungry, I simply closed the account learning how best to survive without. For our stay at Perth Sheraton, it was and will always remain as a "Time Capsule" filled with Love and Respect to those who face poverty and Hunger. Frank Burns

The best centrally located Medical Centre right in the heart of Midland. The original store, built in the early 1900's is testimony of how well established the centre is today in 2014. All Doctors & Staff are professionals who have the patients best Interest at heart. Dr.Mark.Weedon has the 'Medica Journal', printed at Massachuttes in the mid 1800's. There is also a bookmark cloth from the Massachuttes Brewing Company. I offered the Book to #sciam on the basis that it might hold a key towards unlocking #parkinsonsdisease to help Sergey Brin but was penultimately rejected. You could always ask Mark to view this Journal. Donated by; Frank Burns

Over many years in our married life, we made many financial donations to the Salvation Army. When my wife Sylvia passed away in 2006 aged 102 years, not one Jehovah Witness member attended her funeral but one lady, Jenny from the SALVOS was there as a mark of respect owing to the impact we had made.

Gina and John were top of the class hosts, making my stay comfortable. As I had my dog Washington in the car, I had paid for two nights but instead, I left early as Washington was pining for me. I travelled across Tasmania in 2010, distributing the proceeds of the sale of my home to those homeless and forgotten by the Rudd government. I helped finance quite a few cherry pickers at Huonville and that gave me a sense of purpose why I had to be there. The Hamilton Inn is a rustic reminder of yesteryear but comfortable and pleasant. As a self-made homeless man in 2011, I approached Hungry Jack's William St store, wanting to volunteer my time, working for nothing. I had ill health at the time but I pushed myself to work 10 hours throughout the night, cleaning their store. In the morning I was offered complimentary breakfast and I refused but paid instead. If only other homeless people took up the initiative towards helping small to medium sized businesses, the benefits to both, would be wide sweeping. #NeverSayYouCant
