Sad that the university is just accepting the fact it has mold instead of hiring a professional remediation company to get rid of it.

The heavy rains from summer storms and flash floods in the Louisville area this summer were bad enough when they hit but they appear to have left something behind that’s still causing problems — mold in homes. Complaints of mold surged during July, but the Louisville Metro government health department shows that the numbers of complaints have been rising steadily for four years.

I have to say I am a little unhappy with this company. First they scheduled me an appointment and then a few hours later called me and said they couldn't make it really putting me in bind. I don't like leaving bad reviews but this really upset me. 1/14/15 updated review: I have changed my review to reflect the owner's sincere apologies for my inconvenience. He did try to reconcile the situation and offered to do the testing free of charge, however I had already scheduled another company. I cannot offer advice as to what work they do but I can say they have a call center making their appointments and appointments are not confirmed until the technician is contacted. From what I can tell most of the companies that do this kind of testing use call centers which I find to be impersonal. I did appreciate his efforts afterwards trying to make it right so I changed my review. Hope this helps.

Response from the owner - a year ago
It is true that we had an appointment scheduled with this client that we had to cancel and for that we apologize. However, representatives booking appointments are employees of the company and inspections are confirmed at the time of a call. This was a simple mistake in scheduling that we caught and notified the customer within 2 hours of the original call. We are not perfect BUT we are dedicated to customer satisfaction and use situations like this to improve our business in the future.

I was looking into buying a older home and I was recommended by quite a few people to give this company a call to make sure there was no mold issues hidden somewhere. I was reluctanct but I called and had a technician come out. I am so glad I did! This home had so many problems i had no idea what i was getting into. I ended up still purchasing the home. I am glad i called though so i could have leverage to negotiate the price WAY DOWN.

The inspector did a great job at our house recently. He confirmed several mold issues I had assumed I had and then was able to identify some other issues I did not even know exsisted!

After my parents had a flood at their home and I realized their basements looked like an episode of hoarders I called this company to come out and sample. They took some air samples and some physical samples of some mold they found as well. They were so informative and really genuine. They really helped my parents in a bad situation and also helped them realize there are reasons why you shouldn't just keep everything you find in your basement because some items actually grow mold better than others. Great company. I highly recommend them!

No hidden fees that other mold companies want to charge you was the main selling point for me with this company. I had a couple other companies come out and tell me one price on the phone get to my home and then try to charge me two times as much or more. This company was very upfront, honest and really put everything into terms i could understand.

Hope I don't have to get a mold inspection again but consider me a repeat customer if I do.
