I was drawn to this place...
a little corner cafe... Au Vieux Corner Bistro in Paris
where the coffee aromas teased my palate day after day...
It started there... on a Internet chat room
that's where we met for the first time
upon the 10 O' Clock hour... with casual conversation...
The first hello's... the first " Hi...How are you?
a few lines here.... and more thereafter
drawn together... a force... polar love...
I could hear her voice
on the backdrop of endless space
it was our place...
I dreamed of her noises...
like soft silky melodies
ones I could hum my heart strings too...
She sent me a picture
it was of red and white colors
red lipstick pressed against white textures
I had only one hour of her time
it was on Sundays, but it was hers and it was mine...
then she had to go...
We would chat of nothing... then something
laughing, crying, and smiling
between our words, our thoughts, and lines...
Over time we fell into this pattern
where nothing else mattered
but chasing our dreams across the stars in a dark blank sky
Everything faded... the sky turned blank when I was with her...
now days turned into seconds to endless minutes..
they seem to drag on cause I missed her
I had fallen... she had fallen... madly upon the stars
we craved a moment... a glimpse of flesh
bodies meshed together under the dark blanket of space
We agreed to meet at a table for two at the Au Vieux Bistro
where the coffee teased our palates
on an endless backdrop of space.
