This is so true, I am loving the new Doctor so much, I think he is so funny and witty:) (in his own grumpy way). I think Peter Capaldi is an amazing actor and tbh i have no idea why there are so many people that dislike him #petercapaldi   #doctorwho

August 28, 1939 (3 Days Before World War Two). The New York Times: "Berlin Thinks Door Is Left Open To Peaceful Solution."

August 30, 2014. Reuters: European Union leaders will threaten Russia with new sanctions over Ukraine but, fearful of a new Cold War and self-inflicted harm to their own economies, should give Moscow another chance to make peace.  http://reut.rs/1wRLehI

The history has not taught Europe not to repeat the mistakes of the past.

At the same time France that had once been in Ukraine's shoes began to think seriously.

"Are we going to let the situation worsen, until it leads to war?" French President Francois Hollande said at a news conference. "Because that's the risk today. There is no time to waste."

I'd be excited! I'd get to meet the Doctor, before Moffat decides to kill me off... -_-

Turn 6.5 hrs of bike riding into 15 minutes of almost watchable video.

((BTW if ya don't like the music/topic of music... turn the volume down and ya should really try to be more inclusive and not so intolerant of others ;))

After a long trip on the W&OD was great to be able to get a tasty grilled half-smoke, with an excellent snap of the casing. Great potatoe wedges and while not usually a fan of minced pork I enjoyed the NC style pork with Cole slaw with just the right amount of vinegar bite. (The servings were not small, I was really hungry. Did I mention the 90 mile round trip ride on the trail?) ;)

Straight forward 2 star hotel. Rooms were clean, staff adequate (for our 1 night stay), halls had varying smells of masking chemicals and other pungent smells. Room was fine after leaving window open for an hour or two. If a picky traveller stay away, if just looking to crash for the night or not very discerning in any case you'll get what ya pay for and do fine.

From spring to fall an excellent place to park and ride/walk/skate down the rail trail with bathrooms. Drinking fountains suitable for filling water bottles, taking a sip or use the lower spigot for fido :)

What used to be Lil more than a beat up BBQ Shack with a pass through window, has changed into a place that you can sit down and eat after you pick up your meal from the counter. The new building a necessity after the original Shack /house burned down. I'm pleased to report that after a number of years in the new building that the BBQ taste like it came out of the old Shack! And anyone that knows about BBQ knows that the best comes from those little shacks and dives. The pork ribs are juicy with a glaze of sauce (not dripping like KC BBQ or completely dry). The ribs are typically cooked perfectly where you can take a bite easily but not sliding off the bone. You can get a sweet or hot sauce on the side but not necessary. Two sides I always get to go with the ribs are Cole slaw and Greens. The large grate of the slaw is closer to slices and has just a Lil bite in the taste of the sauce that goes well with the crisp carrots and cabbage. The collard greens have just the right amount of heat that I love. The kids love the sweet potatoe frys, these are almost more of a dessert than a typical fry side. Overall great place to get pork ribs done right, not a place to come and sit down to linen tables or even to have a server to the table. Just good BBQ and honest sides.

After having a whole life policy with Mel for over 20 years, it has been impossible to get him to return phone calls/reply to emails to increase coverage with the contracted Guaranteed Insurance Option on my policy. For two weeks I have tried getting someone to answer my questions from their office and cannot get a response back. I will be switching homeowners policy to another company and will be switching agents for the whole life insurance policy.

Best pizza, period. Update... Still the best! Personally love the Dionysius Pizza for a basic goto ( Pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, peppers, onions, tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese) but after a long bike ride will sometimes indulge in the carnivorous Hercules ( Gyro meat, steak strips, meatballs, salami, sriracha hot chili sauce, tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese). Try any of the pizzas, even a simple pepperoni. The wood fired brick oven crisp the crust perfectly. The gyro sandwich is good to me, but to be honest I've not had a lot of experience with these (think you could put their tzatziki sauce on a shoe and it would taste good!) Sides ... the wings are ok, but nothing earth shattering. Again, for anywhere in Southern Md, the best Pizza is at Obo's of Indian Head. (I'd guess better than most places in the DC area as well, but I haven't tried every place... yet.)

Visited after a 64 mile bike ride (cycling). Had the miniball crab cakes and the Dublin Pot Roast, both were great. The service was great also. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for genuine Irish Pub grub.
