Terrific experience, Ike and Megan are great and extremely helpful. Great range of e-Bikes, well priced. If you are in the market for an e-bike do not buy before visiting this shop Gary Larkin - Oceanside

I recently had the pleasure to take a bike tour that started in Oceanside and took us down the coast! I previously lived in San Diego for over 2 years so I have expired a lot of the exciting tourist attractions in the area. This was my first time on an electric bike not to mention biking along the coast! Ike & Megan gave me a quick and easy "how to" with the bike and we were off. Through out the whole tour they were very helpful, fun, and knew of great picture spots as well as great places to stop for a bite to eat or coffee. It was by far the most exciting tourist attraction I have done in San Diego!! The scenery was breathtaking with great people. Not to mention how fun it was to be able to pass other bikers with ease or to see the look on faces as we zipped up hills!!

I was recently in San Diego to participate in the Rock and Roll Marathon. In our downtime my boyfriend and I were looking for something unique to do that would allow us to see San Diego without wearing me out before the big race. San Diego Fly Rides was the perfect solution! My boyfriend's aunt and uncle (avid bike riders) joined us on the tour and while they got their workout pedaling through the neighborhoods and coastline of La Jolla, I pulled back on the throttle and cruised up the hills - saving my legs! The views were amazing and Ike, our tour guide, was so energetic and knowledgeable - he really made this adventure a unique experience. Ike truly made sure I felt comfortable using the bike and was attentive to the group. My boyfriend's uncle couldn't stop saying what a great time he had on the bike ride! I don't normally write reviews, but I was so impressed by Ike and his business that I had to share! I highly recommend the SoCal Riviera Tour!

My girlfriend and I took the Spanish Twist tour with San Diego Fly Rides during San Diego weekend trip. Megan and Ike were realy pleasant in welcoming us into the store before getting us acquainted to the electric bikes. These are REALLY awesome equipment to have when travelling within a 10-20 miles range from city center - certainly will go much further if you peddle instead of treating it like a scooter :P Great for quick stops, no worries about finding parking spots while enjoying the so-cal sun! just perfect! Megan took us through Balboa. She's very personable, friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the area. She was full of ideas and suggestions on what to do in San Diego. I'd certainly recommend San Diego Fly Rides and will keep them in mind when I'm back in the area!

My wife and I booked a spontaneous trip today with San Diego fly rides and had a great time. We wanted to see balboa park and this turned out to be an awesome way to see more of the park - without any walking and pedaling (only if you feel like it. Electric bikes are a cool concept and we whizzed up even the steepest hills and inclines. Ike was fun, personable, attentive and full of information. We learned a lot about San Diego and got a relaxing afternoon ride out of it! We'd definitely recommend this to our friends.

I ran into a friend that had purchased a Zuma electric bike from Ike at Fly Rides. Within 30 seconds of seeing it, I knew I needed to have one. I hadn't ridden my mountain bike in over two years because of deteriorating knees. Ike showed me a Bionx conversion kit that would allow me to keep and ride my favorite bike of all time. He took the time to find out what type of riding I planned on doing, and suggested a perfect match. Riding an electric bike is a really fun experience. You'll feel like you have super powers in your legs as you use very little effort to keep up a good pace. For extra fun, just push the red button, and let the motor do all the work while you just sit and enjoy the ride. Ike is a great guy to work with, listens to you, and will work hard to be sure you have a great experience whether you are taking a tour with him or purchasing a bike or conversion kit for yourself.

Stingeree is an excellent tour I recently took the electric bicycle tour of downtown San Diego with San Diego Fly Rides, and it truly exceeded my expectations. I am not your average tour taker, and these days I prefer my motorcycle to push bikes. I went along with it to make my daughters happy, and I think I had the most fun of all. We started at their surprisingly cool downtown office, where Megan and Ike got us trained up in no time. We headed down to the ballpark, over to the water, all along the marina, past impressive ships, and rode up into Little Italy. We heard fun info about the history of the area, and just the right amount. Megan took great care of us, made sure everyone was doing well and staying together. The bike I rode had a lot of torque and was quiet and easy to operate. I love the sound of loud pipes on my RoadKing, but these bikes have got me thinking I might want another option in the garage. The tour route took us past the popular tourist spots, but also along some quiet bike paths that were a nice break. Overall, a great ride, nice and entertaining people, solid equipment. A+

We did the Balboa Park tour with the charming Megan as our guide. It was our first time on electric bikes - fascinating technology. Megan was exceptionally knowledgeable about both the bikes and the Park. A great way to spend a few hours.
