Pricing your #freelance  services isn't just about income, hourly rate, or negotiations...It's a signal to the market and potential clients about your value. And you are valuable, right?!
As a freelance writer, editor, or graphic designer, there are plenty of problems with setting your rates too low or accepting low-ball offers. The obvious leader of the pack is that you're going to have trouble paying the bills—assuming you haven't recently won the Powerball, or that you enjoy eating ramen for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.Running a close second is opportunity cost: While you're slaving away for hours at pennies a word or a few do...

OMG - I used to use WordPerfect exclusively when I worked for the Dept. of Energy - it was the "standard"!  I loved the formatting  "reveal codes" and some other cool features. Yes, it's kind of in my past, but still resides on my PC!
