Alright, liberals, just listen. Everything is going to be fine. You're very high right now. You will probably be that way for about four more years. Try taking some vitamin B complex, vitamin C complex.. if you have a beer, go ahead and drink it..

Just remember you're a living organism on this planet, and you're very safe. You've just taken a heavy drug. Relax, stay inside and listen to some music, Okay? Do you have any Allman Brothers?

You know, I'm against drug use myself, but I'm not going to lay that on you right now. Just mellow out the best you can, okay?

Is there any "management" group here on G+? I find myself in a leadership role in my son's Boy Scout Troop, the media committee for the Magic Castle, my family, and last, but certainly not least, my window cleaning company.

I am trying to find the balance between ignoring a needed issue and being over-enthusiastic about it. Everyone wants a task completed, they all agreed that it is needed and that everyone needs to participate, even something small like "RSVP to a committee event" or "fill out a form with items needed/completed"

Most of these grand things are contingent upon EVERY member replying with the pertinent information. But (and I blame Pareto) only about 20% of the people are willing to actually follow through, no matter how easy I make it.

If I ignore them, they won't do it and the project doesn't work - and if I ask them more than once, they get upset that I am too pushy.

I lean towards the "pushing" side of the equation because it is always rewarding when the big project comes through, but I really need some help in technique to bring everyone on board.

I am dealing with people who are either, tech-unsavvy (can't click "Yes" on an email asking for RSVP) or they are lazy (just don't ever respond to any request) or even hostile ("Hey, that is my job - you shouldn't be trying to do what I was asked to do a year ago") Uh huh, if you had done it, they wouldn't be asking me to get it done now - but I digress

Sign me, "Enthusiastic, yet frustrated"

Hey, here's a neat little trick - Do you know who your Federal and State representatives are and how to contact them? Text your zip code to (520) 200-2223 (Yes, it really works)

This article is almost 3 years old, but I was just going to say the same thing - heads up for the latest food fad - Greek yogurt is going to have to make room for the new "it-girl" on the shelf, Icelandic yogurt :)
