Found this is a great place for a quiet pint just a short stroll from Leicester Square or Tottenham Court Road/Oxford Street.

i was taken there by a friend. i am not a big fan of pubs, i prefer my bars and clubs, however when i went, the place was full and the energy was great. i was happy with the price of the beer and i was also able to try a few beers, which i have never tried before. if you are around and you have no where to go i think you should check this place out and try me what you think... :)

Reasonable enough boozer with a good range of decent ales but invariably too busy for me - so I've all but given up visiting here.

Perfect for pre-theatre dining due to proximity of many West End theatres with many pub classics on offer. My wife and I popped in before seeing the not-to-be-missed "Once" at the nearby Phoenix theatre. We had not booked so were lucky to get a table in the upstairs dining area. We were greeted and seated by Garry who was an excellent host, juggling all the tables on his own with amazing success. The menu is good. We ordered the crumbed prawns & scampi and the steak frites. Both dishes were good value, well presented and arrived very quickly. The tables either side of us went for the fish and chips, which looked extremely good. The fish is served in deep fried in beer batter, comes with mushy peas and diners have the choice of a regular or large portion. We will certainly be returning next time we are in the West End, but will probably use the online booking facility to ensure we get a table.

Its a decent enough pub inside, fairly spacious and the times i've been in there never full to the brim. They have outside seating onto the main road of Charing cross road, but I woudn't sit there. On a main road like Charing Cross road it just doesn't seem right to have outside seating. Good selection of beers, nice bar staff. Duck in for a swift one.

Spent new years eve 2011 there after failing to get to the embankment. Had a great time and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. Saved the evening.
