Hey +Dean Wampler, I've recommended (but not required) this book for a course I'm teaching in the Spring in which we will be applying functional programming techniques to last year's AI Challenge (http://aichallenge.org/).

You did a service to the community by writing the book. Since it's so short, it would be an even greater service if it were available at no cost. Are you familiar with Learn You a Haskell for Great Good? (http://learnyouahaskell.com/) It's a terrific Haskell book -- and its available free online.

My two editions of K&R. The first edition was my first "real" programming book, which I used to learn C in ... gulp... Physics grad school. (Take that, you kids out there!)

You were way ahead of me, +Dean Wampler , but I did enjoy my 20+ years of physics research.

Didn't Sprint run adds years ago exclaiming "No Circles!"? I forget.
