During a root canal treatment, our endodontist (a dentist who specializes in treating the insides of teeth) removes the diseased pulp. The pulp chamber and root canal of the tooth are cleaned and sealed. Removing the infected pulp will restore your tooth. After the treatment, your restored tooth could last a lifetime if you continue to practice good oral hygiene.

A professional teeth cleaning removes tartar that may develop even if you regularly brush and floss.
