Well, it has been five years since we said "I do." in a little barn near Castleton, Ontario.

Today, +Gerri Bird asked me what has changed about us, and if I would do it again, knowing what I know now.

In all reality, I would have probably tried to do it a few years earlier.

She has helped my life take on meaning and purpose that it struggled with for years. I wake up happy beside her every morning, and I try to stay in bed as long as I can, because it just feels right to be near her.

The fact that cooking her up a steak and some asparagus could bring tears to her eyes, tells me that she is truly meant to be with me. We could have went out for an expensive dinner at a restaurant, but we just feel more comfortable together, at home.

A few years back, she read me a quote that turned out to be from the Bible.

"I have found the one whom my soul loves."

A very thoughtful sister in law had it put into this frame as a wedding gift. It is one of my favourite things, and probably the only use I have for anything biblical.

Anyhow, in case you were wondering, I would marry her again, as often as we could afford it.

I am really enjoying +London Worms & Garden and especially this series. It is making me change the way I run my bins. Very informative for anyone wanting to use up household scraps and get great soil amendments in the process.
