Unreasonable East Africa, an organisation that helps young people to adapt the world to their environment in order to improve it, will from June 25 to July 31, host 24 social entrepreneurs, who run 14 ventures in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania, at the Unreasonable Institute in #Kampala.
Social enterprise is the new buzz in East Africa. The region’s social entrepreneurs — who are mainly from the younger generation — have come up with projects that make money while furthering social welfare.

Nshunge is fundraising to help buy a school truck for URDT Girls’ School in Kagadi, Kibaale district. The truck will be used to transport students to sports events, farm work and educative theatre. She will be sharing her progress and her learning process here every Thursday and hopes that it will be helpful for other Ugandan women who are running, or thinking about running, fundraising campaigns. #Donate
URDT Girls’ school, started in 2000, uses the 2-generation approach where young girls and their parents learn together and develop a shared vision for their home. Please support the effort!
