Critical limb ischaemia (CLI) is the most severe expression of peripheral artery disease (PAD) and is associated with a high rate of major amputation and mortality due to advance systemic cardiovascular disease. We caught up with interventionalists and surgeons at the second Interdisciplinary Endovascular Aortic Symposium, which took place during CIRSE 2016. This year saw the launch of the IDEAS Training Village, where delegates could practice stent graft placement for both the thoracic and abdominal aorta.
