We certainly had fun. The staff was friendly, but I was not impressed with their selection of games. They do have some great promotions. If you are in the area and a gamer it is definitely worth stopping. I liked the selection of restaurants nearby as well! I would have to say that our best playing experience was MGM Grand, and if you are interested in playing anywhere I recommend you skip over MotorCity all together, and go with Greektown and MGM!

Make sure if you stay in the hotel you check the bed before you get in it. My friend and I were there 04/11/15. Finally went to the room about 5 am. Whoever stayed there prior to us pissed the bed and the maid laid clean sheets over the top but the pee from the pad underneath seeped through. My friend jumped in and laid her face in someones nasty piss. They did give us another room but the damage was done. Gross People!!!!! Also The Bistro 555 has some nasty food. Stick to Salads if you can. Hard to screw up lettuce. Plus your gonna pay a hefty price for their food.

Poor casino. I was banned from the casino for playing craps when the dealer complained to the pit boss that i was throwing the dice off the table on purpose. I argued back and was banned in the process. I recommend mgm or motorcity. Better comps and they have buffets. Greektown doesn't have a buffet just a crappy food court. Payouts were terrible when i did go. I do win at the other casinos.

Sorry you had a difficult experience Anthony. Our Tables Team works very hard to make sure all the folks playing have a great time.

Wedding Night! We had a wonderful experience. Room was very clean. We were in the deluxe suite. When we checked in, the staff gave us complimentary breakfast. Can you say thank you. Staff was really nice. Room service was good. View was amazing. We are already planning to have our anniversary there again.

Have been numerous times to eat, wife used to have VIP parking for all money that she spent there. Went on Wednesday just to go to the hotel buffet. Was denied entry into the garage because we had our kids with us. Happened to be a 1 PM tiger game so the casino wanted the space in the garage to sell to tiger fans. Have been numerous times with kids for the same reason without an issue, but when we were hurting there revenue they suddenly wouldn't let us. The attendant was rude and her supervisor was worse. Did not even grant us the courtesy of listening. My wife and all will not be back to this place. My wife has stated she has been treated rudely MANY times now, where this has not happened at MGM. I am not particularly a casino fan, I do not gamble and think it's foolish, but if you are going to, do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

This hotel has went down tremendously since it has first opened. It used to be nice and luxurious and now it is not much better than The Days Inn. Most of the staff is incompetent and ghetto. Expect an attitude if you ask for anything including just ordering room service for morning breakfast. Prices are extremely high for rooms, food, and drinks. I called to confirm my late check out to make sure no one would go in and clean my room before 4pm (the late checkout time) I was informed by the girl on the phone with a nasty attitude that since I had a late checkout no one would touch the room. I got there at 3:20 pm to find my room had been checked out and the stuff that I had left in it was gone. The supervisor on duty was helpful and took care of the problem the best she could but I still had to make a trip back up there that same night to retrieve my lost items from the room. I was very glad to hear that they were found (because it was $1000 worth of stuff) but still all of that could have been avoided if they would have left the room alone like they were supposed to until 4pm. I would have been totally out of luck if I had to catch a plane or something that night. I would have had to wait for them in the mail (if they would even do that ) all because the room cleaners couldn't read instructions or just didn't care because they wanted to get their job done faster. Words of advice to Greektown: Hire educated people who know a thing or two about customer service instead of ghetto hood rats off the streets!

BEWARE of Greektowns new Reward System because it is a downright joke! I played at 4-Card Poker and Blackjack for over 4 hours, and only accumulated 91 CENTS in Comps. I cashed in $400, and only accumulated 91 CENTS in Comps. Furthermore, the dealer that was on the table, was so slow, that he would NEVER put any new cards in the shuffler. 1 Deck was ready to go in, but he never used it because he was dealing so slowly, the 20 minutes he was on the table, seemed like 5 hours. Ever since the new GT- Rewards came out, that's supposed to be bigger and better than before to accumulate comps, neither myself nor my friends who are avid players, barely receive any comps or free-play. My advice to whomever wants to go out to a Casino for the evening-BYPASS Greektown Casino and go to MGM, MotorCity, or Casino Windsor, but leave this joke behind! You will have more fun and actually be rewardsed. I've played for 3 hours at MotorCity last week, and accumulated $67 in less time and less money spent

If you're going here alone or with friends who don't know the area, or never been here, expect to get lost if you don't ask for help. I still think the best feature of the casino is the free valet parking. Don't leave valuables out in the open & don't forget to tip!! Also, just outside od the 2nd floor has the Detroit People Mover that will access most of downtown. There is more than one way to find the entrance, just ask for the food court. This casino used to be very hazy because of all the smokers, but has cleaned up considerably. I doubt they'll clean up the stained walls and ceilings. There's slot machines everywhere if you want to throw your money away, or try your luck at the limited number of tables they provide on the central floor. Texas Hold 'Em is still the most popular game and the minimum is the $10 tables. I suggest entering into the card tournaments they have on weekday nights for the most out of your money. The entrance fee starts at $50. There's a few corners of this room where there's free soda, juice and water. Or spend a pretty penny at the stands of hot dogs, sandwiches and fries. The staff, janitors & security will often ignore you and focus their problems on the constant drunks, druggies and elders that walk in. Please don't risk the employees jobs by tipping them for any reason, but they are all kind enough to help you around. The building is large and spacious, but expect crowds and line on nights & weekends.
