If you don’t scrutinize these images you would swear that they were photographs of rugged mountains, shot in some desolate region of the earth. Look closer and you will realize that these images are actually ocean waves, shot at their peak as they glide through the sea’s unpredictable surface.
Australia-based photographer Ray Collins shoots some awesome photos of the ocean which he calls SeaStills.

This post features 55 beautiful macro flower pictures taken with a variety of equipment, lighting, and many different types of compositions. Flowers are popular subjects that provide lots of detail, have a variety of shapes and colors, work well with lighting, and they generally are very beautiful and pleasing to look at which provides a photographer with a lot to work with in order to make a great image.

Given the range of her roles, Jane says her family is still the most satisfying aspect of her life. “That’s my legacy. In the business world, my time at ALZA was truly amazing, helping people do things they didn’t think they could do. The network of people I  worked with there continues to stay in touch.”

For those just starting a career, she offers this advice: “If you don’t know what you want to do, don’t try to make a plan. Just be curious. Watch to see if a door opens. And, don’t be afraid of failure.”

The array originally included only three lenses when it was commissioned in 2013, and additional lenses were added along the way due to the improvement in its capability to detect extremely faint and complex structures around galaxies.
While telescopes do a great job gathering light and obtaining images of ridiculously distant objects, even the largest and most advanced units are assumed to be unable to detect certain faint structures due scattered light which may be hiding them. An awkward looking, multi-lens array was built to solve the problem – the Dragonfly Telephoto [...]

"Wet Fold Origami Technique Gives Wavy Personality to Paper Animals by Artist Hoang Tien Quyet" http://www.thisiscolossal.com/2015/05/wet-fold-origami/ #analogsignals #feedly
Often one associates origami with sharp and precise folds, miniature works that have a crisp perfection. Origami artist Hoang Tien Quyet shies away from this rigidity, instead folding his small objects with a technique called "wet-folding," which allows curves to be created instead of

"Gates achieves this with the proclamation that the BSA won’t revoke charters of councils which choose to allow gay adults, but still seeks to make that policy official."
Speaking at the Boy Scouts of America’s National Meeting today, the organization’s President, Robert M. Gates, stated that he will not revoke the charters of local councils which permit gay adult leaders. The move stops short of calling the nationwide acceptance of gay adults to a vote, but opens the door for more local councils and troops to act as they see fit.

The Lewisville Independent School District may have a case citing the expectation of privacy within a school environment. As we recently noted in our article, “How To Protect Your Rights As a Photographer in the Modern World,” there are areas that photographs may be restricted in due to their private or secure nature. For the district to prove that there is a reasonable expectation of privacy, they must either demonstrate that the school is generally recognized by society as private.

Introduction
Avid Photography enthusiast that has been shooting film or digital for over thirty years.

Primarily an Outdoor Photographer I seek to find the beauty in urban, rural, and natural settings, with an eye for the light composition, and proper exposure to portray the final image as pre-visualized at the scene.

As I continue to develop a personalized style, I find that my vision is often expressed in the textures, lighting, and color in the scene in a way that is less representational portrayal, then it is of an abstract or emotional portrayal.
