"World No Tobacco Day" is May 31. Did you know that smoking is responsible for more than 480,000 deaths annually in the US, including an estimated 41,000 resulting from 2nd hand smoke exposure? http://goo.gl/iRr4tS

With over 7 million guests annually, the Branson Fire Department has to be prepared for any eventuality. Recently Branson Firefighters were practicing slope evacuation rescues which, according to Firefighter Jason Bruck, the instructor, is the most common type of tactical rescue they are involved in because of the roads and terrain around Branson.

Based on what you know about #Branson, where would you recommend that a family of 2 adults and 3 children ages 9 to 14 stay?

I made all reservations for lodging and shows through the Branson Tourism Center. They were very courteous, professional and had everything ready when we arrived. If we ever have the opportunity to travel to Branson, MO again, I will contact the Branson Tourism Center and have them make all reservations for me. Not only are they professional, it sure does make the vacation nicer knowing that when you arrive all you need do is go by the Tourism Office, pick up your package which already includes your show/entertainment tickets and confirmed reservations for your hotel and relax.

Patty was super...suggested good shows and recommended some good restaurants. Dave (front desk) could not have been more helpful and patient...great crew! You can't go wrong with this company.

I found the folks here very helpful, informed and not pushy about selling something. I will use them again and feel they go out of their way to help in anyway they can.

Highly recommend using the Branson Tourism Center for your reservations . The staff are both helpful and friendly and gave us great recommendations on places to visit and restaurants to check out.Our trip was fun and everything went just as planned.

We phoned the Tourism Center and booked a 3-night vacation. The deal included three nights at the Radisson, full complimentary awesome breakfast (that saved us over $20 per day), two tickets to Clay Cooper concert, free couples massage, a $30 meal discount, and a book of coupons. Everything was as it should be, and they were available to help when we asked. We were even able to print off a coupon worth 20-cents per gallon discount on gas! I would recommend using this venue for booking your vacation to Branson. Be sure to drive a rental car, as there is no large airline that services the area. You will need a car to get around Branson, so let a rental take the beating for the round trip!

While I personally didn't use them my dad did and we missed our boarding time for the Branson Belle. yes our fault. there was seat available for the next show but would not offer a discount or anything for the additional tickets. We will no longer be using there services and will just get tickets thru the venues we wish to go to. Dad has used this company for years spent tens of Thousands with them and well sorry for your loss.
Response from the owner - in the last week
Dear Mr. Meier, On behalf of all of us at Branson Tourism Center, we deeply apologize for any inconveniences you may be experiencing while you are here in town. We appreciate our customers and want to know of their experience when booking their vacations with us. We have looked into your father’s order with us and were able to find the notes when your father called us the previous evening stating your family had missed the cruise. We do everything within our power to ensure our customers arrive early enough to each show and attraction, including placing the preferred arrival times on each voucher, to ensure your family does not miss a chance to create wonderful memories together. Our goal is for all our customers to have seamless vacations and we are disappointed when that does not happen. We fully understand how disappointing this experience was for your family, unfortunately, we have no recourse on the Showboat’s policy for late arrivals. The staff at the Showboat Branson Belle did offer to rebook your family on a later cruise, however there would have been an additional charge for the later cruise. We are unable to extend compensation that is not offered by the property. We sincerely apologize for this misstep in your vacation. If you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to contact us at our office at 1-800-978-1999 to speak to a Manager.

Except for the push to attend the Wyndham Resorts sales scam they were great, a one stop shop for lodging and shows...biggest complaint is the push to attend the Wyndham Resort sales pitch by offering a refund on part of your show tickets. BTC seriously needs to distance themselves from the Wyndham people who remind you of high pressure car salesmen who try to brain wash you into making a fast commitment on (in our case) a $92,000 vacation package (time share). Do you homework, Wyndham Resorts have way too many lawsuits and complaints from regular people that got scammed, we kept saying 'no' and our salesperson (Mary M) got down right rude, collected her stuff and walked out of the cube leaving us for the 'closer' to try a salvage her commission. AVOID the WYNDHAM people all together, don't even make eye contact...nothing is for free and the breakfast they promise you is a joke, true it's not donuts but dry mini biscut with ham or sausage and egg and a small muffin...other than that, BTC did well by putting everything together for our first trip to Branson.

I picked up the tickets for the shows and a voucher for my room in a few minutes. They gave me a map and explained where I was and how to get around. The hotel, Welk, that they recommended cost me half of what I expected, and it was great. The shows they recommended were great (Jonah and Six).
