No kidding; Branson's newest restaurant, the Hungry Hunter, is to the Pork Tender and Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich what Branson's Billy Bobs is to the hamburger! Ate lunch there yesterday; 30 years in Branson and the best Pork Tender sandwich I have ever eaten, period. No three !!! Located at 5753 State Hwy 165 just south of the State Park Camp Ground, owners Nick & Madeline Berthelson said it will be open seven days a week from 0700 to 1500.

These four, drastically different, popular Branson shows, "Moses," "SIX," "Billy Dean In Concert With Jarrett," and the "Million Dollar Quartet," dramatically demonstrate both the variety and quality of the live entertainment Branson offers! What shows would you add to the list?

Did you know that Grand Jubilee's Jackie Brown was the singing voice of the original “Country Rose Barbie,” the only Grand Ole Opry Barbie Doll that Mattel ever had? Mattel hired two girls who looked alike, the interviewer spokes-person and one to sing. Each was dressed like the doll and Jackie was the singer who introduced “Country Rose Barbie,” via national TV, on the Grand Old Opry Show, singing the Loretta Lynn song, “You’re Looking At Country.”

Very good service, helpful in organizing events & attractions. Although I was not told on the phone that it could take up to 48 hrs. for confirmation to be sent to my email so I got a tad bit anxious when it didn't come the same day. The very best thing we went to was the Downtown Motown (we are of the age that those were the songs we grew up w/ as teenagers) and the Branson Paddle Wheel boat. (the smaller one at the Landing not the larger one with dinner). The Captain was entertaining & knowledgeable. While the seating was small at the Downtown Motown I was impressed with the intimacy of the setting & interaction of the performers If situations allow, we plan to return to Branson in June w/ grandson. There is something for everyone....couples, families, old & young..

We booked two shows, a light display, and a hotel room almost a week before our arrival. The Dixie stampede showed available tickets at the time of our booking. Our other show showed tickets available at the time of booking. The hotel did not show either way. That night Branson tourism contacted us and told us the hotel was not available and we had to change to another hotel. Throughout the whole week we constantly called trying to get confirmation of the shows in the hotel room, but we received the runaround every time. Finally the day before we leave we call them multiple times and I am far mass that one of our shows was not available, That was our primary show to see while we were in Branson. I question him as to why we could not get tickets because there were tickets available when we booked the reservation with Branson tourism, but the lady told me that the shows waited until that Friday, Five days later, to inform them of ticket availabilities. I consider this a very poor business practice on behalf of Branson tourism, if it was not a blatant lie. Needless to say I would never use these people to set up your arrangements. You really do not receive a discount either. You will have to wait forever to get your confirmations and you might not even get the shows that you're actually wanting to attend when you could buy the tickets on your own. Also, just so you know I won't throw a sales pitch for timeshares on you when you pick up your tickets and it will postpone you buy Nother 10 minutes at least just to get away from them. Do not use these people!!!

Response from the owner - in the last week
Mr. Robinette, We would like to first of all thank you for bringing this to our attention. We also would like to take this opportunity to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced while using our services. Branson Tourism Center strives to provide an excellent level of customer service to each and every one of our customers and it seems we indeed dropped the ball with your reservations. Please know we take feedback very seriously and will be using your comments for training purposes. We would like to offer you a $50 gift card as a sign of good faith and we would welcome another opportunity to help you in planning your next Branson vacation. We will being sending your gift card via postal mail, please expect to receive it in 7-10 business days. Thank you again for your feedback. We hope to see you again very soon!

My wife and I had a great time at Branson. The Tourism Office made getting Lodging and show tickets very easy. One call to Tourism and we were all set. We found the hotel very clean and priced right. The shows vouchers were easily converted to tickets at the show box office and we had great seats.

I have booked my Branson vacations with Branson Tourism Center for several years. They are dependable, efficient, and reasonably priced. I don't think you can do any better than dealing with this company.( but I am not Brett Rodriguez. I am his mother.)

It was very easy to get our tickets. The Branson Tourism Center was just off the highway and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. The gentlemen was very helpful in a shortcut to our hotel and the shows. I have already told others of the experience. Great job!
