This October we will be inviting our program graduates and their families to attend a recovery reinforcement retreat. This week-long intensive will feature ceremonies with sacred plant medicine, carried by the elder and doctor of indigenous tradition. The focus is on integration: learning to bring the beautiful, inspiring moments of the ceremony into our daily lives.

Alternative treatment for addiction is about genuine connections: with supportive people, mother nature and our own hearts. We gathered together in Mount Shasta for a week-long retreat that included ancestral medicine ceremonies, yoga, nutrition, art therapy and pure nature magic. Not just a "rehab alternative," this way of addiction recovery is simply beautiful and fulfilling as meaningful life should be.

Are we really helpless in the face of addiction epidemic?
We are, as long as we fail to see addiction as a wake up call for our growth and transformation. If we do respond to the call, we are destined to rise from this crisis; to heal and to thrive.
Gone are days when society understood addiction as moral failure and tried to shame an addict in attempt to "correct" or rescue.
Today we know that becoming addicted to emotionally soothing or stimulating substances is often a response to psychological trauma, such as sexual abuse. Another cause is a deficit of parental attention during critical developmental stages of child's growth: not enough validation of character strengths or missing support during vulnerable moments.
Genetic predisposition, culture and other factors are also important.
Overtime, addiction sucks the soul out of you and messes with brain chemistry so much, that a psychoactive sacred medicines, such as Iboga and Ayahuasca must be included in the treatment plan, along with psychotherapy, integral medicine, habit-forming practices and supportive community living. All these interventions are aiming to awaken the aliveness and solidify the structure for your new self.
So, can we heal?
Not only we can, but if we embrace this path with patience, healing is inevitable:
As any living organism, each human being strives to grow and heal. Underneath seeming hopelessness of addiction there is a plea for help. To begin, we need to be understood and accepted exactly on a level where our suffering roots. Our sense of solidarity with a fellow human being is a miracle of a medicine in its own right.
When we can understand each other on a level of souls, be patient, show respect, we activate the deepest resources of human psyche, we nourish the sacred seed of self-love.
At Living Clean Ibogaine, we see you beyond the surface of addiction, we accompany you into the depth of the problem, embracing at times dark journey to the self. We hold space for your tears and your laughter, for your hopes, dreams and your fears.
Our eternal allies, the sacred plant medicines: Iboga and Ayahuasca will help you to restore the lost capacity of self-awareness and self-forgiveness.
With these qualities restored, you can again own your innate resources: humor, kindness, willpower. Most importantly, you can be who you really are, not an addict, but someone who is longing to awaken within you.
To bring this healing into your daily life, much discipline and practice is necessary. Cultivating new habits and being able to make critical changes in your life requires a lot of patience, and support that we are here to provide.
We welcome you to our unique, life-transforming program, where every participant, from a therapist to client remember: with true love & patience healing is not only possible, it is inevitable.

Another story of heroine addiction healed with Ibogaine and Ayahuasca.
Our program graduate just sent us a photo with his mother, getting ready to celebrate Christmas together.
What's more important than peace of mother's heart?
He gave his mother's the ultimate Christmas gift by choosing courageous path of healing with sacred plants of self-awareness, he faced the dark side of himself and found true strength within his own soul.
Notice the totemic jewelry on his heart. This is a well-deserved gift by indigenous Ayahuasca doctor, elder, tradition holder from Putumayo valley Colombia.
