I've searched for a lot of resources for learning ASL. While there are a lot of really good things on YouTube, the best overall resource is ASL University http://www.lifeprint.com/asl101/lessons/lessons.htm I think that one of the things that I like best is that the videos are largely ASL only and are set up with active engagement in trying to comprehend the signs. This helps a lot because, at least for me, one of the most challenging things about learning ASL is learning to process a visual language. Having too much auditory input makes it so I am translating the signs rather than simply comprehending them.

I need a new macro lense for a Canon camera. I have a general use Tamaron 70-200 lense that I use most of the time but every once in a while I want to get a really tight macro. Any suggestions on a macro lense. Thanks!

I just read about this company on the FamilySearch blog. It sounds like a really great way to preserve previous family stories and to grow closer as families.

When I transitioned over to shooting in RAW and editing photos in LightRoom about three years ago, I quit subscribing to SmugMug because the way I was organizing photos didn't work anymore.  Organization is still the thing that I enjoy least about photography but I've finally decided that NOT loosing my photos is worth investing some time into keeping my photos organized and maybe selling a print here and there.
