Great food in a casual, honest atmosphere. Fresh, tasty hummus and tabouli. The chicken shwarma was a real standout. Plus - a short walk to most of the hotels in the area.

The food is amazing and anytime I'm here in the Detroit area I try to come as often as I can! I wished they had a Beirut Restaurant in Phoenix for sure!!

Amazing! I came to Beirut Restaurant today for lunch It was so good! I had no idea what to order but my waitress was kind and courteous to help me out. I ended up ordering the mixed grill with their homemade french fries and the lentil soup. Absolutely amazing! So tender and juicy, everything was cooked well with very much flavor. This place was packed and that really says alot about their food and hospitality. My waitress was a beautiful polite young woman, maybe the owners daughters? There was two of them, all smiles and giggles made my time their very pleasant. Decor needs a little bit of tiding up, but it's a really good place. I will be back whenever I'm in the metropolitan area. 5 stars!!

I've had the lamb kafta and chicken kabobs several times and they are awesome.

This is some of the best Middle Eastern food you will have anywhere. The gallaya is extraordinary. It's only a few minutes from Detroit metropolitan Airport. Easy to grab carry out when departing the airport or picking up someone from there.

Friends and I have eaten here twice in the last couple of weeks. Based on all the previous drooling comments I expected something extraordinary. Didn't get it. The first time I had the shawarma combo with chicken and beef. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The beef was dry, stringy and overcooked. The salad with the house dressing was delicious. The most recent visit ordered just the chicken shawarma and based on the previous reviews I had the fries instead of rice. The chicken was dry and chewy. The fries were thick and soggy. The salad was completely different and not nearly as tasty. And the best I can say about the service is that it was lackadaisical. Maybe it was just my timing but I found absolutely nothing "amazing" about the food or anything else. In fact, what struck me the most was the total inconsistency of the food from one visit to the next.

I love this place the food is excellent i have never had anything i personally didn't like my friend has however. My only complaints is there service a few times has been crappy but i think they have changed wait staff and its a huge difference, and there hours during the week are early. But I always go there and will continue....
