Thanks!  Now that this pattern has turned bullish, the price target is 213.

And now, it's time for me to get bullish...
Jim Cramer often says buy weakness. This, however, isn’t one of those times.

Bought 400 shares to UNG today near the bottom of the current sideways channel.  Stop set at 23.2 and target set at 26.  Will lose about $350 or make about $1100.  Profit ratio of 3.  I like this kind of trade.

I was a little early.  Should have waiting for it to touch support for an even better risk reward.

Art Cashin is right.  SPY is tightly correlated to the 10 year yield right now.  The 10 year yield advanced then pulled back and formed a doji.  SPY went a little further but it was as if it couldn't advance any more without the 10 year yield.

The U.S. trade deficit narrowed more than expected as petroleum imports dropped to a 3-1/2 year low, suggesting trade is less of a drag on growth.

Cramer trades jobs blowout: 'Get more aggressive'

Could this be a sign of the top?
The better-than-expected employment report is "really great" news for the economy and stock market alike, says CNBC's Jim Cramer.

10 treasury yield is crumbling. I haven't been engaged long enough with bonds to know what this means. But I'm fairly certain it is significant. Massive money buying treasuries just when the Fed is tapering!

TLT making fairly large move down today. I'd think that is bullish for stocks. But I still don't trust this market. I'm mostly on the sidelines.

A place to discuss Stock and Options Trading
Introduction
I'm planning on taking up trading stocks, options, and possibly futures full-time over the next 3-5 years.  I'm currently trying to develop my own trading system that profits in any given market environment.

I swing trade options and stocks anywhere from a few days to about 3 months. My average trade is 3-4 days.  I'm getting pretty serious about trying to learn stock trading; treating it as a business.  Still learning what works and doesn't.  You'll see a mixture of option and stock trades.  I may explain the rational for some trades.

For several years, I only did fundamental analysis of stocks and viewed technical analysis as nothing more than a form of psychic reading using random data.  This was wrong.  Technical analysis is about statistics and probability.  Similar story with options, that was just pure gambling - wrong again.  It's a fun learning process.
