New China Stat: The Economist reported that China has surpassed the US as the largest importer/exporter of goods. Opportunity knocks for mobile ads given the size of the smartphone market there and the preference for mobile as the primary means for media consumption.
Positive signs for the mobile advertising industry: Gartner is forecasting that mobile ad revenue will reach $11.4 Billion in 2013 with China and India cited as important contributors to industry growth. While Informa expects it to hit $12.8 billion.
