In the New York-New York Hotel, a splashy, vibrant spot delivering Mexican fare & drink options.- Google
"I had to have my tea refilled 3 times, because I was trying to calm the burn."

This restaurant has a pretty cool Location inside the New York New York Casino, which has a mini city inside of it with New York style store fronts and everything. We sat on the patio, so we could people watch. The roller coaster went by a couple times too, so there is a fun atmosphere here too. The service was fine. No complaints there. I thought it was odd that we had to pay for the chips and salsa that most restaurants give you for free. The salsa was a bit too spicy for me, so I ate the chips plain. My husband got enchiladas and said they were fine, but not the best he has had. I got one of the specials; a seafood enchilada dish. I felt the same, and it was again too spicy for me. I had to have my tea refilled 3 times, because I was trying to calm the burn. The price range was typical for Vegas, so no real surprise there. Honestly it wasn't terrible, but with so many great options in Vegas, I probably wouldn't go back.

Pretty good place for a quick relatively inexpensive bite. The layout of NYNY means that the "patio" of GyG will be a bit smokey. The seared lettuce and steak salad was pretty good. The outreach margarita was outstanding. Good flavour and not too sweet. Some of the other dishes are a bit too heavy on the sour cream.

I'm from Arizona, so I naturally eat and know lots of Mexican food; so I was impressed to find good Mexican food at this place. I loved the roasted salsa--absolutely fantastic. And the coffee was great, too--and I do LOTS of coffee. Just the salsa made me excited for the food.l; be careful of the spicy one. I thought I knew spicy, but this one got me! I got the burrito and taco combo, ground beef, and the meat was well seasoned, the rice deliciously moist, and the beans were very good, too. My boyfriend had definitely done better carne asada--his specialty. Nevertheless, I will definitely be back. And our waiter was so attentive!

I was craving some menudo after a night of drinking in Vegas, but couldn't find a place that sold some anywhere on the Vegas strip. I came across "Gonzalez y Gonzalez" as I walked through New York-New York and although they didn't have any menudo, they did have pozole and it was delicious. I enjoyed their pozole, as well as their chips and salsa, and enjoyed the atmosphere here. The music and vibe was great, good selection of drinks, and it even turns into a salsa dancing club at night (not sure if that's every night or not).

Turned up for an early evening dinner and was seated immediately. The service was great (Chris, I hope I remember correctly), the portion sizes were huge, the price was pretty good and the food was delicious. Bring a big appetite.

Great vege tacos. Only four stars because you have to pay for chips.
