This place is an absolute gem inside of NYNY! We went on our last day in Vegas(yesterday)and really enjoyed ourselves! Hector was a fantastic waiter! We ordered the fajitas. So delicious! If you love authentic Mexican, this is a must do!

I enjoyed the fajitas. Margaritas are a bit pricey at $10+ but I have nothing but good to say otherwise. I'll be back.

Where do I start? I dined in this restaurant in November 30 2014 and was delaying my review until I was absolutely sure that this restaurant are not even interested in ensuring the safety of it's customers. However I am positive that this establishment will make the same mistakes again as they are not even willing to admit they are unsanitary and that they need to look at the way they handle food. THEY SHOULD NOT BE OPEN. They take no responsibility whatsoever for giving me the most severe illness I have ever had which resulted in my wedding being ruined, holiday (with a group) ruined and resulting financial burden. Today I have had confirmation that they do not even care. Zurich who are the insurers for The Ark Group (who are responsible for this chain) emailed me back after 3 months of waiting to tell me that I could not prove that this place poisoned me and that they are not even willing to consider my correspondence. No apology whatsoever over what happened or assurance that they will inspect the hygiene standards of this restaurant. I am utterly disgusted (and even note that I AM NOT THE FIRST PERSON TO BE POISONED BY THEIR FOOD as there are other Trip Advisor reviews, I wonder how many others there are who do not have the time to write reviews or do not have access to the internet?) Back to the restaurant itself. I dined with my friends here the day before my wedding and 30th Birthday during a trip to Vegas. I ate the Chicken and Steak Fajitas. They tasted okay (nothing special, a little bland) and service was okay. Afterwards I headed back to the Hotel opposite (MGM) to start to make preparations for my wedding. Shortly after eating lunch I began to feel sick and what was to follow was nothing short of a horror story. I was up all night and continually being sick (and other things, I don't think you need to hear). At around 2am I began to feel dizzy and disorientated so the paramedics were called to my hotel. I was hospitalised and given very strong medication. It was confirmed at hospital that I did indeed have a very bad bout of food poisoning and my hospital report even documents this yet Gonzales Y Gonzales/The Ark Group and Zurich have told me that I have no evidence to support that it was their restaurant that caused this. They tell me this after I sent detailed documentation of my whereabouts in the run up to eating here and what I had to eat in the two previous days. My wedding was cancelled and my guests were informed that I was not going to be getting married, that everything I had planned for 2 years was down the drain. I explained this to the HR Management at the restaurant in person with my Maid of Honour. When I arrived to complain looking nothing short of death I explained that I still could not hold anything down. I was offered a cup of coffee! After detailing the dehydration etc they offered me coffee?! After telling them my wedding was cancelled they did not even apologise or even find out afterwards (they have my email address and contact details) whether I was well etc. The restaurant was just opening and there were clear plastic containers with big yellow stains on the worktops, everything looked dirty that I could see and the staff were just talking to me as if they really couldn't care. I have no more words to describe my complete and utter disbelief that I didn't even get an apology. All I can say is please do not risk your health and do not eat here; it is not worth the risk. I am actually concerned about this place being open considering their scant disregard for the health of the general public.

While in Vegas for a business conference, we decided to give this place a try for dinner before a show we were attending. Coming from Texas, I have pretty high standards for fajitas and such. This place, while not outrageously priced by Vegas standards, was pricey compared to much better options I have at home. We shared an order of beef fajitas. The beef itself was of mediocre quality. Queso that we ordered was little more than cheese wiz. Probably the worst sin was that chips and salsa were extra cost. While they were OK, I'm used to chips and salsa coming out with the cups of water before the server even takes your order. Service was decent. Overall, I wouldn't plan to visit this place again - it's just not worth the time and money.

This used to be a good tex-mex border casual restaurant with fresh margaritas. But it's time to move on - it has gone downhill now, from the food to the drinks to the service. I won't be back.
