Business Insider just published their " Future of the Payments Industry ", quite an informative read. Looking at the "we are here" in the in-store mobile app payments makes me excited to see the future of the anycommerce platform.

I've been struggling how to explain the opportunity with edge/cloud computing -- I think the term "fog" does a great job.
I agree with the author - too much emphasis on the cloud right now.  Most cloud growth estimates I've seen neglect to acknowledge that smartphone apps will likely pick up a big portion of that workload.
