Thanks to all those who have financially supported us to be able to help 14 families and individuals to keep going when they are reached moments of destitution. We only have £40 left and are therefore seeking the support of people willing to donate to keep this important work going. We would value your support....

Last Friday I had the wonderful privilege to host a day exploring a more Anglican and Catholic tradition approach to Evangelism with the wonderful Bp Stephen Cottrell, the Bishop of Chelmsford sponsored by the Southwark DIocesan Mission Network and as part of my role as the Woolwich Episcopal Area Mission Enabler. This is the first of three podcasts exploring the difficult subject of evangelism starting with the theme of Beauty.

The story of resurrection on Easter Sunday was extremely important for me in the light of the terrible things going on in the world. The resurrection helps me hold onto hope.....

Interested in getting involved in a new monastic community in the heart of Peckham and take on a great flat with below market rate rent? We're looking for liberally-minded Christians interested in sharing an amazing flat.

Two double rooms are available in a beautifully presented 2-bed flat within 2 minutes walk of Burgess Park and excellent bus routes towards Elephant and Castle, Waterloo, London Bridget and the City.

- The Wellspring Community Peckham is a diverse yet local spiritual community of people inspired to follow the example and way of Jesus in what is called a New Monastic Community, drawing on contemplative prayer practices and local loving action.

- We seek to show that those who may not relate to traditional ideas of church or Christianity can find a home with us.

- We recognise the inspiration of many throughout the centuries - saints, mystics, monastics and artists, seeking to offer hospitality and conversation to all.

- We seek to live in a way that is both relevant to modern culture and to God, by finding God in the midst of everyday life. We welcome all to share their lives and learning with us as we continue to journey on.....

- The Wellspring Community is part of the Anglican Parish Church of St Lukes Camberwell in Peckham in the Diocese of Southwark in the Church of England.

- People who would be eager to engage and participate in the community while maintaining healthy regular professional and personal lives
- People who feel able to commit to at least six months
- People from all walks of life, backgrounds, race, ages, genders and sexuality
- People who would enjoy pizza and beer after church on Sunday evenings

Check out the community website - for more details of what we do and feel free to get in touch with any questions or concerns
