Great food, great atmosphere, great service. My favorite restaurant, anywhere. Delicious, creative wood-fired pizzas with a really great, chewy crust. 20 rotating craft beers on tap, most $5. The space is a beautiful and underground, with exposed brick and some murals. Dimly lit, but clean and cozy. It's unique, comfortable, and casual. Families are always welcome. It's packed on the weekends and after hours, when there is often live music. The service is terrific and everyone is really friendly. It's certainly not an Appleby's if that's your thing. This is my favorite, authentic Lynchburg local place.

An amazing selection of craft beers, delicious pizza (I recommend the spinach artichoke dip) regular live music, a quirky fun staff, overall just a great local joint!

Solid environment, definitely a good place to have a slice and a brew, but overall the quality of the pizza was okay. The margarita pizza, a staple in any solid pizza joint, was poorly constructed with bland basil, and sub-par tomatoes. The cheese pizza wasn't any better. That said, if you're looking for traditional, it isn't here. What is here is an outstanding beer menu, paired with an in house cellar if you're looking to take home some of their more rare selections from the taps. And like their less than domestic beer sampling, the pizza takes a turn for the more exotic. From the Drew Brees to the Connie Hall and everything between, these pizzas are unique and there is sure to be something to satisfy. Be warned though, this is not your hometown pizza place. Each pizza is a masterpiece of flavor pairings that might surprise you. Poor cheese pizza, but great artisan creations. Truly a hipster's dive.

Got a Pepperoni Pizza, was pretty great other than it being slightly burnt. Service was awesome and such a cool environment. Will definitely be making a trip back.

Discovered this place within the last year. It’s become a regular since the bar scene is limited around the area. The vibe/atmosphere has its ups and downs. Band nights are usually packed, but it just depends on the weekend. The crowd is usually the same. It’s definitely got a consistent hipster vibe. My friends and I enjoy the trivia on the tables. The drinks are also REALLY cheap by east coast & northern standards. $4 mixed drinks anyone? I've tried their pizza but after a few drinks, so it was delightful. The spinach artichoke dip is decent.

The wait staff is a bit... frenetic, but the food and craft beer selection make this a great choice. Twenty interesting taps available, plus a shop with selections to go. The kids pizza was just as big as the regulars so we ended up with a lot of leftovers! Good all around.

Best pizza in the city. Only wood-fired oven in town, and it makes all the difference in the texture and taste of the crust. They use fresh and local ingredients, which makes each pizza that much more appetizing. Go in and try The Ricky. You won't be disappointed.
