I've been thinking lately about motherhood...as a friend recently told me that people my age don't need to be having children and 60 year olds should not be raising teenagers. Everyone is entitled to their opinion I suppose...but my thought on it is that when all is said and done and I'm at the end of my life, I will be happy that I used my time and energy doing the things that matter the most to me.
Im sorry I missed the opportunity to get the book that has Guidelines on the age when parenting is not good or bad. I have always felt that parenting has a certain degree of selflessness attached to its being done. It never ends, and so those whom are challenged with this whole concept can even fathom the Idea of giving your self as a parent until death. Parenting never stops nor do the lessons therein. Along with those lesson we become not only selfless like unto someone else we know (GOD) but also we are awarded with a small portion of his wisdom. This knowledge may be hard for someone who starts by criticizing others about age requirements to understand.
