Biomass is battery storage for solar energy. "Make Smoke, Burn Smoke", new book to raise awareness of the awesome power of biomass energy.  Starts simple, stays simple.  Hands on practical, curiosity led learning.

Several of us have rented the Marshall County fairgrounds in Argos Indiana for the weekend of May 18-20th. Everyone is invited to come out and meet up with fellow gasification enthusiasts. We've gathered most of the gasified vehicles in the U.S. together for the event, the more the merrier!

If you are interested in attending please RSVP through this form:

An instructable! Yes! We certainly think more people should try building gasifiers. You learn something every time you build one! HT +John Nash.

Story

Power an engine, heat your home!
Introduction
Gasification is a proven technology useful for powering engines, generating power and heating applications. Clean renewable energy - from wood!

Wood itself doesn't burn. When you heat wood, it releases a flammable gas, commonly called wood gas. Widely used in WWII to power vehicles during fuel shortages, wood gasification is viable today for the enthusiast and the homesteader wishing to make their own power.
