Did you see this +Julia Robertson?
This is an amazing discovery. Of course I get depressed reading that human trials are no where close to being conducted especially given the drug is already in use and available. Why you would not give it a go on life threatened stroke patients is beyond me but hey I don't run the FDA nor have I had a stroke.
If the data and results stand up to scrutiny I hope the approval for use comes quick.

Mr Blackbird on his favourite hunting ground
Turdus merula

An introduced bird from Mother England, the Blackbird has adapted well to living in Australia.
There are several Blackbirds that visit my garden and I enjoy seeing their industrious collection of worms from my lawn especially when I know they are feeding young ones. Both parents work hard to supply enough food to feed them and have a warning system that they toot to each other at that time of year. Despite being common visitors, they are generally wary of people and good at checking for danger.
