Hi plussers!  Have you heard the latest reason to "like" facebook yet? Spoiler alert: VIDEO BEHEADINGS!
Good news, facebook fans!  We can once again post decapitation videos, so long as we include a proper amount of condemnation of the practice of beheading people (as opposed to the practice of posting beheading videos to faceb...

This week's episode of From The Booth is one of our best, if I do say so!  Don't miss this week's copy of Batman Black And White, featuring art from friend-to-the-podcast Dave Bullock, and the new hardcover novel Walking Dead: Fall Of The Governor from friend-to-the-podcast Jay Bonansinga!

I'm not letting a comics-based major studio release go by without a review, this time it's the Wahlberg/Washington vehicle 2 Guns.

Seems to me like Bane would be a better fit for a "strong guy" character in a mostly-grounded tv drama...but I don't know how much they want to step into territory covered by Nolan.  I know they want the look/feel/money of Nolan's take on Batman, but I don't know how much they want character appearances to be common to both.

+r0adcrossingchicken Agreed.  I just think Bane, with his chemically-charged power set, would have been a great way to take the show into "superpowerland" without going too fanciful.  That is, if Nolan didn't do it first.  Sol Grundy would work if you could get him away from the supernatural origin...at least, if you wanted to get away from that, and as the show has been thus far.

Captain Blue Hen Comics has, over the past several years, become a favorite and frequent haunt of mine. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable, and the array of product, from vintage/current comics to niche comics and pop culture collectibles, is vast. If they don't have a given item, they likely have a means to get it for you, and they've always put the customer ahead of the custom when it comes to recommendations. When you want to talk with staff who's more current on comics culture than your average blogger or internet news site, you go to CBH.
