This seems like a pretty neat idea, but I wonder how long it will last as a viable business, assuming it gets started at all. Now we have some many people in China who don't go to the cinema and merely watch movies on their laptops (like me!). Will we all maybe one day have VR-capable headsets and chairs in our homes?

This shuttering of a Nikon camera plant just goes to show how the importance of smartphones continues to grow. Why buy a camera when you can get comparable quality on your smartphone? Sure professional photographers and die-hard fans may resist this trend, but normal users will likely rely more and more on their phones.

It will be neat to have a "brick and mortar" store that let's you handle everything yourself via social media. However, this service might face existing competition from a number of apps that let you have grocery store items delivered to your home. So will this new convenience be enough to compete with online services? Only time will tell.
