Spring has finally arrived!  Our gardens are starting to burst with color.  May is our favorite time of the year for our gardens.  The lilac trees are full of blooms, it won't be long now.  Isn't Mother Nature grand!

It is Snowing!
It may only be November, but it sure looks like Christmas at Abner Adams House!  As much as we hate being cold, the snow is beautiful.

GRBABA Luncheon
Greater Rochester Bed and Breakfast Association June Meeting was held at Abner Adams House this afternoon.  Just a peak at the salad and fruit that we prepared for lunch.

First signs of Spring
After this long winter, this is the first day the snow has melted enough to see the gardens. There are lots of new sprouts of tulips and daffodils peaking their heads out of the earth.  It is spring, it has really begun!  So refreshing.

It may still be snowing but we are warm and cozy inside Abner Adams House.  The driveway and sidewalks are clear and we are ready for you!  Come and snuggle by our fireplaces and stay warm.

Crepes for Breakfast
Yummy Breakfast this morning.  Sweet cheese crepes, topped with peaches, raspberries and raspberry drizzle with turkey sausage.  Nothing left on these plates this morning!

Blackberries are ready for jam!
Our wooded trails are loaded with wild blackberry bushes.  They are wonderful for making jams and jellies but are very small and contain lots of seeds.  I only picked the periphery for I was not prepared with long pants and long sleeves.  First batch of jam...

Herb Garden
Our Herb garden is back!  After the harsh winter we have lost many of our annual plants.  But, we are so exited to say that the herb garden did fine.  It is so refreshing to walk out the back door and pick fresh mint and chives for garnish on our breakfast ...

I went with a friend this afternoon to dump her tanks at Camping World. This was our third trip there and it gets worse each time. The first 2 times the hoses were full of holes and made a mess. This time the dump station hose connection was broken and could not be solidly attached to the RV. Upon seeking help in the store we were sent to the sales office and not one sales person knew how to dump a rig or connect a hose!! At least one person came outside to look, and suggested duck tape to hold the camping world broken hose in place. That was our only option. Needless to say, it leaked..........Camping World I am disappointed in your lack of attention to your customers and their needs. Don't offer dumping if you can not maintain the space. This is an unhealthy situation.
