On the Internet, the email address you use is kinda like the car you drive. People make instant assumptions about you when they see you're using an AOL email address. Have you ever switched Email accounts because you knew people might react to the one you had in a way you did not want them to? It's kind of important if you're using email in a professional context. I think I'm going to make a new AOL account just to trip people out. I could tell them I'm an environmentalist and Gmail is such a storage hog, using Gmail is like driving a Hummer! Ok, for real it'd be hard to give up the speed & search of Gmail. :-)
