The challenge behind being a Green personality is our inherent intensity to research. We will research, ponder, research more based off of our questions, ponder more and it goes on and on and becomes cyclic.

A conclusion will take a very long time for Green personalities. Something as simple as purchasing a can of Pineapple can easily become a daunting task as we look at the various choices and wonder, "Do they want crushed, whole, or chunks?" We tend to weigh the benefits and the disadvantages of the various types of Pineapples.

We can easily spend 30 minutes standing in the grocery isle going through the labels, looking at the ingredients, adding to the list of the benefits and disadvantages eliminating certain brands and labels.

Thus, my guess, my challenge with my English class. Green personalities get tremendous angst at having to draw a conclusion before doing heavy research. It goes against our nature. We are the thinkers, heavy thinkers of all the colors. We are task oriented creatures that will spend hours on end researching best practices only drawing a conclusion when we feel we are well informed.

For the first time in 10 years, as I stood in the doctor's office I realized that today is the anniversary of the day that Mom had her scuba diving incident. Today was the day I got the call that she was in ICU in a coma.

For the first time in 10 years I did not break down into a ball of emotional mess. I went to school after my doctor's appointment, and so many people were hugging me, saying hi to me everywhere on campus. I went to pick up my paperwork for some disability services and he asked me how I was doing and after I got through telling him, he smiled, winked and said, "We are here to help. Let us know if there's anything we can do."

I went to go and get the instructor's signature and was greeted with exuberant, "Hi Chris!" from several classmates. It was a shocking and weird day for me today. It was filled with so many hugs from so many classmates that it was a bit overwhelming but it made today, which any other year, was dismal.

I do believe I'm finally healing and I'm looking forward to wonderful changes. Positive changes. I'm back with my University of Washington providers, Jeff is going to be getting care from them as well, things are finally looking tremendously hopeful. Finally.

In one fell swoop today, I have appointments with my cancer surgeon, a UW dermatologist, my blood work was taken, and tests are scheduled. All in one visit. That's health care. That's the way things are done.

Absolutely, wholeheartedly believe this 100% unless it is mandated that every motion at work is tick marked for lost time. Full autonomy is a driving force behind my intrinsic motivations for a fulfilling position on a team. A team that understands that the word "can't" is not in the vocabulary but rather, "let's experiment to see what we can do to get it done" mentality is a team that become the movers and the shakers that make things happen. That is an experience that creates excitement in team members where they wake up at 4 AM wondering if it is time to go to work yet. It does exist. I have experienced it. It is the most rewarding employment experience.

It is amazing how creative thinking can be inspired by the simple presence and gathering of old friends.  I have been inspired by the simple love, short conversations, and the feeling of remembrance of the days of old.  To see, almost the entire group, back together talking about what they are doing, what is new in their lives and feeling their positive vibes.  I have missed them all but a new chapter has turned with new possibilities of new experiences with their presence and opportunities to gather.  Thank you my friends for rekindling a long lost love and for sharing a new beginning with us.

“If I never had another stack of resumes to review in this lifetime, I’d be happy as a clam,” said Cherie,  a Marketing manager. “I'm so tired of reading through endless lists of dry-as-dust skills, tasks and duties, I’d be thrilled never to have to do it again. After all, [...]
