Childhood memory spot. The burritos are sloppy, the food is good and tasty, and there is always a line! I remember my dad taking me here when I was little, i think that is why I still pop in once in awhile. have you seen the TV commercial? LOL

This place is all about the hype.. Yeah Tito's has been around forever and it's in several famous movies but the actual food is alright but not worth the typical 30+ minute wait. Ordering at this place is an absolute mess as there are several line but all apparently get the same food. There is nothing electronic so nothing is really efficient either. Ordered a few tacos with cheese and chips and salsa. Once ordered, the food came out relatively quickly. The tacos itself had large shreds of beef in there which was nice but the shell tasted just like an ordinary shell, lettuce is just lettuce and the cheese was nice and soft.. The chips were just regular tortilla chips you would find at a Mexican restaurant. ok.. this place was good but no where near the hype that you've heard about so its a 3 star. Might come back if im in the neighborhood!

I don’t understand why there’s always a huge line of people here, especially given the abundance of great Mexican food in the area. The food is barely better than Taco Bell. Is this just a product of nostalgia for a bygone era? Everything here is barely passable as Mexican food; there’s only one type of meat (it could be horse and it wouldn't really surprise me, I have never been able to truly discern what type of meat it is because it just tastes overwhelmingly like the red sauce it’s cooked in), on the menu and all the sides (rice, beans, salsa, guacamole) are incredibly bland. Go to Pepy's, or anywhere else in the area, just not here.

It's not real mexican food, the burritos are similar to taco bell lots of beans with cheap yellow cheese &pieces of beef. Crispy tacos? Just beef&cheese? Where's the cilantro&onion like REAL mexican food. I always saw a big line ,tried it,&i don't understand what the big deal is about it! It's nasty.

This place always has a line. Their offerings are pretty simple and basic. Tito's has been around for a long time and is an old favorite for some but I just can't see why it still remains as popular as it is. The price for what they offer is also a bit high compared to other places. If you have had Mexican food from San Diego, I wouldn't come here.

The most overrated place in LA. WHy do people like it? Why do people do meth? Theres just some things I dont understand. The tacos here are one step above Taco Bell but cost three times more and take 15 plus minutes in line to get

A favorite taco spot in LA. You'll drive pass it and think, wow that is a lot of people waiting outside for tacos. I would say the taco's aren't bad but the price might be a little too expensive for tacos. They aren't your typical taco. These are like Del Taco on steroids. I normally get 2 tacos and an enchilada. They also give you some chips on the side. Parking is not bad from the last two times I've been but I would imagine it to be worse on the weekends.

If I were writing this years ago, it would be definitely more than 3 stars. Growing up in Culver City, Tito's Tacos is one of the hot spots many people visit. The lines have always been long and parking is atrocious. Over the last couple of years, the quality has diminished and now Tito's Tacos is just a childhood memory. I recently made a trip back home to West LA and decided to have Tito's Tacos for lunch. Luckily, the line wasn't as bad as I original thought. I ended up ordering 3 tacos and wished I hadn't. I should of used a napkin to pick up the taco because it was an oily mess. Jeez, it wasn't flavorful at all. It tasted like taco oil with lettuce and cheese. The service was surprisingly good. I say surprisingly because it's generally a miss but the cashier was a pleasant. I am giving this place 2 stars because of the service and sentimental memories of coming here with friends as a kid. Now due to the recent experience, I can say I won't be back. This place is overrated, very disappointed!
