Are You Ready for the Spring Market?

It’s hard to believe that we’ve already almost left winter behind us. As we move closer to spring, what should we expect to see from the market? Historically, spring is when the market starts to get really busy. Sellers prepare their homes to list, and buyers are waiting for listings to crop up. Though inventory is short in general, there are pockets that have plenty of homes to spare. To learn more about what’s ahead for the spring market, watch my latest video.

A Few Tips for Winterizing Your Vacant Property

If you have a vacant property and you need to keep it properly maintained during the wintertime, I have a few tips to help you today. First, keep the heat on and make sure it’s at a minimum of 55 to 60 degrees. If you use oil or propane, make sure you have enough to last the season. If your property is going to be vacant for a while, you may want to turn the water off. To learn more about maintaining your vacant property during the winter, watch my latest video.

What Do You Need to Know About Short Sales?

With the recent changes in our Baltimore market, we’ve seen a decrease in the number of short sales. However, there are still a significant number of them happening, so today I want to answer a few questions you may have about short sales. For example, what does the bank do with all of the seller’s information? When you have a short sale, the bank looks through your bank statements, income, and finances to make sure everything is accurate. To learn more about short sales, watch my latest video.
