The tacos are the best I've ever had in my life. The stew is also excellent, and the dessert fry breads are the stuff of dreams. The restaurant has a lot of charm, and the staff is always amazing. They're personable and friendly and they offer great advice to newbies trying fry bread for the first time. My favorite restaurant in the valley.

I had a bad feeling about the place when I walked in. I proceeded to the bathroom and I see a dead roach . I used the bathroom my sister has already ordered food so I was gonna just let it go. Well as we got our drinks my sister was getting tea. She saw a roach crawling on the counter. She came back and told me and I said we need to talk to a manager this is not okay. She went respectfully to cashier and asked for a manager which was when was told there was no manager just a person in charge. During this time my sister is waiting for a person to assist she can see way back in kitchen area which looked cluttered and up kept. They have a big burlap material blocking view to kitchen. Probably hiding cleanliness. Anyways the lady in charge tell my sister that they are aware of the roaches and just sprayed last night that's why they are coming out. Gross. Your aware and still think it's okay to serve customers. My sister was told that the sign by cashier says no refunds . We are aware but it does not say there is roaches and if you see one you still don't get money back. The lady who talked to us said that the manager does not like giving refunds and she will get mad. My sister had a scarf on her head she has cancer she said I can't eat this food I can get really sick of its cooked in this condition. The woman said I can refund your food not hers. I said this is not okay there is roaches we pulled you to the side not publicly making a scene. She said that she will see what she can do. During this time we noticed dust in too awaning were kitchen is as well as we smelled the strong smell of bug spray. The lady also mentioned they had health inspector coming everyday and he aware. They are moving locations because of pest. I just find it hard to believe there is roaches walking on bevarge counter and it's okay for health inspector. Thankfully the money was refunded and we walked out without incident. I felt bad walking out of there without letting all the other customer know what they were dining around. Its not okay they still serve the people of central phoenix knowing they have this disgusting issue.

Delicious! Fantastic! Excellent! I got the green chili fry bread and it tasted great! The fry bread alone is enough to make you full for the rest of the day! The first couple of bites I picked it up with my hand and then later on I started using my fork & knife! I accidentally found this place. This use to be the old Poncho's location in what I was looking for originally but then I found this place. If your from this area or your familiar with this type of food, you will definitely understand what it's all about.

Large, tasty portions for a great price. My son had nachos. I had the red Chile fry bread with green Chile stew. The venue was clean and customer service was okay. Will go again.

While waiting around this area, my sister and I found this place with great food and a small Native American marketplace where 2 talented ladies were selling their beautiful items. The customer service was awesome as well as the young man who handed our meal to our table. I was also impressed with the place being so neat and clean. This location is definitely a 5 star for me. (Thank you for reading this review - I am writing reviews of everywhere I eat when I dine out, places I shop, movies I watch and much more. Stay posted with #ReviewByMariaMescal)

Food - 5 STARS - I highly recommend! Delicious tacos & dessert on amazing fry bread! ------------------------- Building cleanliness and ambiance - 2 stars (very gross bathrooms and the restaurant just looks like the leftovers from the previous restaurant that occupied that space)

Delicious food and excellent fry bread! So glad we found this place. Unpretentious but comfortable, and the staff was very polite and friendly. We'll definitely return frequently!
