.cn Chinese Restaurant
228 City Road, Cardiff CF24 3JH
Newly opened in 2012, .cn brings authentic northern Chinese cuisine to Cardiff and a welcome change from the typical Cantonese fare. Would recommend the salt & chilli squid, crispy lamb breast with ground chilli and the stewed trotters. Good sized portions, modestly priced. Will be returning for the £15.99 all-you-can-eat hot pot!

Atlas Shawarma
reviewed:
Atlas
16 Wilmslow Road, Rusholme, Manchester M14 5TP
The now infamous Atlas Shawarma House. Well more bedsit than house but who can argue with fore-arm sized lamb/chicken shawarmas at £2.50 or falafel for £2. Popular for its four naan for £1 offer as well.
Quality Very Good

N G Motors & Partners

Cardiff's most established independent Audi specialists. Excellent, prompt & friendly service, charging £250 for a full Audi servicing. Only criticism is that they don't offer a courtesy car. Highly recommended, only bad past experiences with Cardiff Audi.

One of Westcliff's best kept secrets. Authentic Sicilian fare paired with modest prices & hearty portions. The venue itself perhaps a little too small to dine larger groups, comfortably but definitely worth a visit for takeaway. Highlights include their garlic bread with mozzarella & chilli and the Marinara has always been a favourite.

Excellent small, family-run Korean & Japanese restaurant specialising in Korean Barbeque (Yakiniku). Recommend the Dol Sot Bi Bim Bap, Fawr Prawns & Miso Chicken. Resonably priced at £25 per head including drinks and 4 courses.

Part of Southend's Clarence Group, the Mews fits in between it's bigger, more outgoing brother, The Clarence Yard and the quieter, lounge style of The Marketplace. The highlight here is it's hidden upstairs restaurant which serves gastro-pub cuisine at moderate prices. Definitely worth a visit.
