Hi, here's a tricky question for the show about Author Rank.

I've seen a blog recently where Guest Posts are published under a "Guest Poster" pseudonym by the blogger but then the blogger puts their own Google+ link on the blog post and so "claims" authorship for the Guest Poster's work. The guest poster still gets one or two links back to their own blog, but not their own Google+ author link.

I initially thought that sucks, but then thinking about it thought maybe if someone else is writing about your blog it might be better than having dozens of your own articles pointing back to your own blog.

What do you think? Is it better to have your own author rank link on a guest post, or someone else's author rank?

One of the ways to grow your personal AuthorRank is to be published on a variety of sites. If I was guest blogging I would require the article be tagged with my Authorship credentials. If they didn't agree I would not write for that site. Period.
