I ran an 'Alas for the Awful Sea' PBTA game on Saturday with Chepé and Johannes as my players. The HMS Polaris, employed by the merchant Ulysses Taylor is forced to make land at the small town of Newport, where a conflict between traditional ways of life and modern innovation threatens to spill into open violence.

If you tried to sign up to be notified for the Kickstarter of our upcoming Jane Austen rpg, but were cruelly slighted by the sign up form, it has now mended its uncaring ways and is duly contrite - please try again!

Congratulations to @bartheswasright for winning our regency character competition! We were fascinated by this spinster's double life. Check out the winning entry below.

Thanks to everybody who entered, your regency creations were oh so intriguing!

I have great cause to lament the lack of regency gentry I see living around me in the world today. To remedy this, we've decided to hold a competition to spur the creation of more. And also, to find a regency character to appear, illustrated, in our upcoming Jane Austen roleplaying game.

Here's how you enter:
1. Describe your most fascinating regency character in 50 words or less.
2. Hashtag #goodsocietyrpg so we may locate your entry

More information here: http://storybrewersroleplaying.com/good-society-rpg-competition/

Look forward to meeting a variety of interesting gentry.

It is with great pride (and some prejudice) we officially announce our next Kickstarter - Good Society: a Jane Austen roleplaying game. It will be launching in Feb 2018! Should you wish to learn more, and perhaps to be notified when the Kickstarter launches, there's information a plenty on the link below.

I have no idea why G+ chose this photo instead of our banner image and I can't change it so hey here's a beautiful English village yall how Austen is that.

Our newest free game is out! The Very Important Task is a micro-rpg of office drudgery and pandemonium. It is about the trials and tribulations of life in a corporate multi-national where compliance is more important then... whatever it is you actually do.
