End-times Bible prophecy is like a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle partially done. Many godly people have come before us and have spent a great deal of effort establishing the borders of the puzzle. Parts of the faces and the landscape are taking form, yet without the box cover showing the finished product, no one really knows how it ought to look entirely assembled. The timing of the rapture is a puzzle-piece incorrectly placed. Many times, teachers will begin with the assumption that the timing of the rapture is fixed and non-negotiable. They then demand that the rest of the end times scenario fit that assumption.

The dilemma posed by an imminent return of Christ, together with His clear statement in Matthew 24 that He will return "after the tribulation of those days," must be addressed by any serious study of eschatology. Some theologies propose two Second Comings. But Peter and Paul state that Jesus must remain in heaven at the Father's right hand until certain events are fulfilled (see 1st Corinthians 15:24-28, Psalms 110, Acts 3:21). These specific criteria eliminate the possibility of two descents from Christ's heavenly throne. It is, therefore, necessary to resolve the dual mandate of imminence and tribulation within the Bible's own framework of one Second Coming. "Reclaiming the Rapture" provides the solution that is supported prolifically throughout the Old and New Testaments.

It's time to rethink the timing and purpose of the rapture. The rapture was prophesied from Genesis to Revelation. Why have dozens of rapture prophecies been overlooked by mainstream theology? Explore the ancient texts and rediscover God's clear and consistent revelation of end time events.

Follow Douglas Hamp and Chris Steinle on their quest to solve the Bible's end time rapture puzzle.

* Explore dozens of verses that clearly state the timing of the rapture.

* Understand the logic behind Paul's eschatology.

* Learn why God's indignation, the rapture, and the Second Coming are all part of the Day of the Lord.

* Enjoy dramatic vignettes from the Millennium Chronicles that bring Bible prophecies to life.

* Consider the connection between the rapture and the promised redemption of the body.

* Discover God's plan to gather the Commonwealth of Israel, and how the Gathering applies to the Church.

* See why Paul insisted the dead must rise before the rapture.

* Know the biblical signs that will precede the return of Jesus.

* Includes four charts and three vignettes to showcase the authors' conclusions.

Authors Dr. Douglas Hamp and Chris Steinle share more insights from their book Reclaiming the Rapture. You can study the forms of harpadzo for yourself at http://www.verbix.com/webverbix/go.php?D1=206&H1=301&T1=%CE%B1%CF%81%CF%80%CE%AC%CE%B6%CF%89 The word Paul used in 1 Thes. 4:17 is not formed from harpadzo, but from harpage. Subtle but important difference in interpreting the passage.

Not so subtle is the fact that the 1Thes4 passage says "the Lord will descend." Scripture does not allow 2 "Descendings." Jesus must remain at the Fathers right hand until; a) the restoration of all things (Acts 3:21); 2) all of Christ's enemies have been made His footstool - which according to Heb. 2:8 we do not yet see.

As I stated in the video, the redemption of the body/"rapture" is when we become heavenly rather than "going to" heaven! The meeting comes after the change. As Douglas Hamp has noted, "It changes our entire focus and is much more biblical. Us going suggests that we aren't designed for earth, though we are, and that we will spend eternity somewhere else, which we won't. We will be here but in a heavenly condition."

So much more discussed: why the resurrection comes first? the true comfort spoken to the bereaved; why Satan is only bound and not destroyed at first; why the binding of Satan overcomes the power of death (Heb. 2:14) and initiates the resurrection and the transformation from "this body of death" ...

"To live like there’s no tomorrow is sin. At no time should the people of faith give up hope. “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die” (Isa. 22; 1 Cor. 15). These are perhaps the most spiteful words ever uttered by man. Isaiah foresaw the people of Jerusalem giving up once they were surrounded by their enemies. Isaiah records God’s response; ““Surely for this iniquity there will be no atonement for you, even to your death,” says the Lord God of hosts.” Isa. 22:14

Eschatology is more than a theoretical study of Bible prophecy. Sincere people of faith do indeed live what they believe. Convictions about how much time is left until the of end of the Age can’t help but affect how Christians plan and live their lives. The fact that the present Age will end is an essential element of the gospel narrative.

Though the end of a matter is not necessarily good in itself, the resurrection, the return of Jesus, the world to come, and the final judgment are all part of the good news package. Jesus, the Apostles, and evangelists throughout the centuries have taught the end of the world as we know it. But dwelling on the end of the world and predicting when the world will end is just as problematic for civilization as dwelling on death is for the individual." -excerpt from introduction to Babylon the Great Hoax

DoomsdayDoug, defender of the Dispensational view, Dr. Douglas Hamp, and I will take a look at the short and long term effects of Last Generation mentality; and if it is a necessary element of eagerly waiting for Christ's return. The fact that I am now grandfather to nine may well have triggered my examination of the multi-generational implications end time theology.

Doug Woodward has also posted a worthy article that lays the groundwork for next Tuesday's round table discussion. Please take the time to check it out: http://faith-happens.com/when-prophecy-fails

What if it's NOT the END OF THE WORLD?

Just as dozens of doomsday scenarios are being played out from Hollywood to alternate news media sites, C.W. Steinle dares to ask the seemingly backward question, "What if it's NOT the end of the world?" Are the converging signs prophesied in the Bible being sponsored for the benefit of one or more hidden actors?

After twenty years of end-times research, the author of "Come Out of Her People" steps up to challenge the mainstream assumption that the establishment of modern Israel has started the countdown to the end of the Age. But this popular interpretation of Bible prophecy has the potential of tagging the United States as the Great Harlot of Revelation. American Christians and the enemies of America alike are jumping on the bandwagon to condemn the United States. The author reveals his own journey from the assumption that America is Babylon to his current position that the United States has been skillfully framed to look like end-times Babylon for sinister purposes.

The ebook is being offered in skeleton form as the introduction to a series of essays. Exposing the possibility of a manufactured and theatrical end-of-the-world scenario calls for the immediate release of the author's recent discoveries. Perhaps there is still time to awaken American Christians before they submissively surrender to the coming disaster.
