If this actually becomes a thing, and it's, like, good, I might have to consider it in a few years if the little dude ends up getting sucked into the SW fandom as a fun family vacation idea!

Friend of mine is working on building up his animation empire. Hilarious (and mostly NSFW) stuff.

Haven't had much time to play lately (or the energy to do much of anything, since I've been sick for, uh, 3 weeks? haha. oy...), but my OW obsession is definitely kicking into high gear lately. One of the very few games that I keep jumping back to after getting distracted with something else. Mostly recently that was Horizon: Zero Dawn, but now that I've completed that (at least until DLC comes out or whatever), it's back to Overwatch in a big way.

Who plays that I don't already have on my battlenet list? I'm ThatOneGuy#12667 on there. Add me or whatever!

Got my tickets and everything setup to get my butt to Nerdtacular(http://nerdtacular.com/) at the end of June. wooooooo

Weirdly super hyped, even though it means being a LOT more social than I'm used to. Who else is going to this thing? Should be a good time!

Do I not understand what "Rated M" means? How is this a thing that is controversial at all, let along enough to warrant a patch to remove it?

Re-reading one of my favourite hacker related books to distract myself from being annoyed that Watch_Dogs 2 doesn't hit PC for another 2 weeks.

I first read The Heretic at the time in my life I was at peak "loner computer nerd", so I'm sure that biased me towards it quite a bit, and the writing is definitely kinda sloppy/cheesy in a lot of ways, but it still somehow makes it work and holds a high spot in my list of fav books. I think I've read it 6 or 7 times now (it's not super long), and each time it brings me back to a time in my life where really the only connection to people I had was through a computer screen.

I have a lot of mixed feelings about that time, but I made a lot of friendships that really moulded my adult life, some of which are still going, but many that have since dissipated for various reasons (not the least of which being my near hermit level of introversion). This book is a reminder of that time for me, and never fails to bring up a lot of bittersweet memories.

It's weirdly nostalgic thinking back on that time, when I was always extremely stressed out, and having bouts of severe depression, as being part of why I ended up where I am now, the happiest I've ever been, and lucky enough to be able to afford spending a ton of time with my family without the stress of wondering where my next rent payment or meal would come from.

So... yeah, that got a little weird and rambly haha. Oh well. Long story short, maybe read the book if you're into silly hacking, vr, conspiracies, etc. It's free, so that's hard to beat!

This is basically how I've felt about all FF games since 7, and even that one was kinda rough through most of it imo, though it did have some epicness.
