My car is in the shop now. So far so good. After a minor rear-end hit, they are replacing the bumper but it also needs to be painted. Just wish I had an estimated completion date so I could plan my final days of vacation. They provide text and/or email updates when it reaches another step.. Currently, car is in paint phase. I will revise this when my car is complete. Deduction of stars is for NOT knowing estimated date of completion.

I cannot say enough nice things about this place. From service to "the guys in the shop"...friendly, honest and positive attitudes.

Had a service advisor Rolland Scott work on our car. Not at all happy with the attitude and service. Quoted phenomenally high for getting work done on the car, and wasnt happy when we declined to get the work done by them. Indicated no car wash if you dont pay them money. Car is under warranty and also they are supposed to wash the car, regardless. Shameful, you have to resort to such tactics to extort money out of your customers ! Will not go visit this place for service again...

I had an accident in November 2012, the week before Thanksgiving. Fairly minor damage, but the bumper would need to be replaced. I could have sent the car to a number of shops, but I chose Park Place because they have the Lexus dealership and I felt like I would get superior service. Knowing the insurance "game" that all body shops play, I tried to be proactive and provide them prompt information while keeping tabs on the adjuster in order to avoid delays. First problem, it took them almost three days to call and acknowledge that they even had my car. When they did call, they talked about waiting for the insurance company to provide an estimate...the one I placed on the dash of the car! Two days later, the insurance adjuster called to let me know they asked for more money and that he approved it. About 5 days later, Park Place called and said they were waiting on approval for the additional funds. I informed them that I spoke to the adjust twice, and he had even sent the check out five days ago. Basically, this type of delayed communication, missed dates, and ineptitude continued for almost six weeks. I have had some experience with other body shops, and this was the worst by far. Your cost will be the same anywhere you go if it's an insurance claim, so may as well go to a shop that has a good reputation. I made a bad decision and should have done my research. Avoid Park Place Bodywerks if at all possible.

I took my wife's Lexus LS460 to Park Place Bodywerks after getting a quote from another shop that my insurance recommended. I decided to go with Park Place because I believe that they have the most experience in the metroplex with the Lexus pearl paint 3-step process. Doug Barnes was a pleasure to work with and kept me advised on the progress of the repair, every step of the way. Park Place did a fantastic job on our car, I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Let me tell you, if you want a good job done you cannot expect to get your car back in one week. My first visit here was for my wife's Lexus IS250 that got a minor hit on the rear bumper. Nothing major, it just needed paint work mostly and some repair inside the bumper. Took them about 3 weeks but got the car looking brand new. Even got courtesy touch up and buffing done around the car. The Estimator/Advisor that helped us was Doug. 2 months later, I took my BMW X5M for a minor scratch on the front bumper. Luckily got Doug again. I wanted him to give me an estimate to fix, but he took a nice close look at it and told me it didn't really need much fixing. He took it to back into the shop and brought it back out with 90% of the scratches fixed. Basically he wiped off the paint that was on there from the pillar it got scratched on. I asked him how much it costs and he said nothing! Mind you, I took it to Classic BMW plano to get a quote and they told me it would cost me around $1200 minimum. Doug could have gave me an estimate and try to get some money out of me but instead he was straight up and honest with me and he fixed 90% of it for FREE! All I need now is some touch up paint. Thank you Doug! I appreciate your honesty.

Been working with Greg C for a couple of months now. Upon receiving the estimate from insurance I received a very unprofessional response and was asked to wait two weeks before bringing the vehicle in. When I finally brought the vehicle in Greg left for lunch without getting the vehicle in and without setting up a rental even though I told him when we were going to be there. The insurance and Greg could not come to an agreement even though the insurance company raised what they were offering to pay for repairs there was no budging from Par Place Body Werx. I now have to go through my insurance and pay my deductible on top of all the time lost due to their incompetence.
