Our first trip to the place and it has great food and very nice service. Crusted salmon was some of the best I've tasted. I didn't realize they added 18% to the bill so I added a 20% tip so a $135.00 bill ended up with a $48.32 tip. Always hand your check to your wife to review, I guess. Gonzalo had a great day. I wonder how often this happens. William Moodie, Costa Mesa

Had the Beef Bourguignon. hearty. Food was fine. What I didn't like was the smell of either stinky cheese or rotting mildew when you first enter.

The market carries Fry's Turkish Delight candy bar from the UK & Suchard's chocolates. The music playing in the background was that of Amelie's soundtrack. LOVE

A nice respite among the hustle-and-bustle of The Grove and Farmer's Market. I love the market. Their cheese case is one of the best in L.A. Lots of nice kitchen gadgets, serving pieces and Laguiole flatware. If you enter the market, you will not leave empty-handed.

One of the best places to grab a bite at the market. It's clean, has a wonderful vibe. My only problem is that the menu is a little limited and IMO it takes too long for your food to arrive. As good as this place is or pretends to be there is no excuse for food to arrive cold to the table. Even on a busy day.

Convenient, casual, un-LA French menu

Feel like having lunch in Paris but don't feel like flying?
