Florida Powertrain & Hydraulic

Needed a slip joint installed in a Remco disconnecting driveshaft. Florida Powertrain (Jacksonville) did it a few hours. It came out perfect.
Quality Excellent

SuperFlow Dynamometers and Flowbenches
4060 Dixon Street, Des Moines, IA 50313
Purchased a Remco Disconnecting Driveshaft for a 2002 Isuzu Rodeo. It took almost 2 months for delivery.
Be careful when ordering a driveshaft, their Application Chart does not always specify the correct driveshaft configuration. This one came without a slip joint, so I took it to a local driveshaft shop and had one welded in. SuperFlow would have done it for $150, but it would have taken another 2 weeks with shipping both ways.
The Shifter Plate for this vehicle does not fit, at all. I have not discussed this with SuperFlow, but have sent them an e-mail, with no response. So I will be crawling under the car each time I need to disconnect the driveshaft and moving the disconnect collar by hand; not as convenient as pulling a knob, but easier than unbolting the driveshaft each time.
This is the only manufacturer of Disconnecting Driveshafts so we have to take what we get. I would ask for installation instructions for your particular vehicle before ordering. There were additional requirements for the Isuzu that are not found on the website.
The product itself is of good quality, it just does not fit.
Quality Very Good

Rented at Sacramento Airport. The checkout process took over 45 minutes because of their antiquated computer system. The car was a Prius, which I had never driven before. I did not like it. It took me about 10 minutes to figure out how to “start” it. This car is not like other cars and requires some learning just to make it move. Why would Advantage/EZ have cars that are not simple? I hated it, but I persevered. When I checked the car in there was nobody in the lot. Fill out the form and drop the keys in the box. I’m glad I didn’t need to review any issues with an Advantage/EZ representative. Poor service and a confusing car = no return customer. The only positive was the low price.

Room 424-Recently refurbished so clean carpets and fresh paint. The king bed was basically comfortable, but was not a Cal King. The TV was sluggish to commands and the channels were the basic cable disappointment. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room. The sink had hot and cold reversed, and the hot was barely warm. The internet was great; fast speeds and no interruptions. The pool was unusable during my stay. Breakfast left a lot to be desired and you need to ask for hot water for tea. The location is quite convenient and the exterior noise is minimal. I had no problems with any of the staff. I will stay here again if I am in the area.

We got dinner at Murfreesboro. We each got a platter to go. It came with one little cup of BBQ sauce for us to share. We could have used two each. We order cornbread to go with it and got their buttermilk pancakes. I understand this is their idea of cornbread, but there was no corn of any kind in it. The dinner itself was just average BBQ, nothing special. So Bar-B-Cutie has been around for a long time and has loyal customers, but this is only fair BBQ.

A rather odd buffet. The food was rather bland and did not have any real character at all. The buffet line has servers for your first time through, then for more you ask your waitress for specific items, so you really are not helping yourself like at a typical buffet. The dining area has a pleasant atmosphere, but that's not enough to get us to return. I you want authentic Mexican cuisine pass on this place and go to a real Mexican restaurant.

We were here on a Sunday and it was not that busy. We were seated by a sullen hostess and noticed that other staff there were also quite sour faced. Our waitress at least smiled and was friendly. Service was painfully slow. They were out of one of their beers that I wanted to try. The food was good, but not anything special. But it was the slowness of everything and the poor attitude that gave us less than pleasant experience.

I have been to this buffet before and considered it to be one of the best. This time was different. Most of my usual favorites were there but they were not hot. Everything on the buffet line was barely warm. It was all still quite tasty, but disappointing based on previous visits. I'll give them another try whenever I'm in the area again.

I had an exhaust leak on my motorhome. They replaced the exhaust donuts and the left side manifold gasket (including three broken stud bolts). It took about six hours and I was charged a very reasonable $500. This is the only muffler shop I could find during our travels that would even work on a motorhome. These guys are great.
