Basic Information
We stayed here for a family vacation. There were six of us and the cabin was very comfortable. The property is beautiful and my boys enjoyed feeding the goats. I thoroughly enjoyed the porch! We would recommend these cabins to anyone looking to get away from the.hustle of every day life.

The food and decor is horrible! I ordered the filet minion and I received a steak but it was not filet minion. It looked and tasted more like a chuck steak. The wine-mushroom sauce was terrible and tasted like gravy from a frozen Salisbury steak tv dinner. The potatoes were from a box with no taste but a flaky consistency. My husband ordered bbq gulf shrimp and there was nothing bbq about them. They tasted like plastic and were chewy like rubber. Neither of us finished our meals. This restaurant is trying to have an upscale appeal but is failing miserably. Cheap silverware, plates and glasses. It felt a little like eating in a cafeteria. The decor is so cheesy! Pictures of Mammy and other actors who no doubt never set foot inside the building. At $20+ per plate I expect more class.

Looks so appealing from the outside but inside it is so outdated! My boys are very into space right now so they enjoyed the robots and theme but it seems like nothing has been updated since the late 1980's. We had free passes and I would have been more upset if I had paid. Its a good thing to do on a rainy day but there are a lot of other attractions to see.

A large group of us stayed at the campground Thursday through Sunday. We had two campsites directly next to each other and a cabin not to far away. The first issue is the roads inside the campground. They are not wide enough for two cars and are very hilly and have lots of curves, not enjoyable to travel after dark with so many children about. My parents stayed at the cabin. It was clean and had an "okay" shower. However the mattresses and the "bunkbeds" were a joke. The mattresses were so thin and had plywood under them. The bunk beds had the same mattresses and were not even close to twin size. My boys fit in them fine but no adult could sleep on them. It was nice to have a full size fridge but the microwave is on top which is awkward and there is no counter space or sink. Overall, I would not suggest renting a cabin. You do not get what you pay for, granted it does have a/c. The camp sites were nice but do not count on any shade. We had direct sun all day. Our camp site also had an ant problem and they covered our tent and eventually found away in. One problem we had was that they allowed someone to check into the campsite next to us at midnight. So they had their car headlights on so they could set up. Then they proceeded to party until almost 2 am. We have young children so that was not appreciated. I've never been to a campsite where they allow you to check in so late. The bathrooms were nice as was the pool area. My one complaint for the children's pool area is that there was no shade. No tables or umbrellas, it was not friendly for a pale skinned red head like myself. Overall, not a horrible place to stay my children did enjoy the activities.

It was our first time on the ducks and it was wonderful! The guide was funny and polite. He made the tour very enjoyable. When my son asked the same question as another man in the front of the duck our tour guide smiled and answered it again for him instead of making him feel silly. The tour is beautiful and informative. I would suggest everyone to take this tour! Worth the money!
