Fogo de Chão
600 East Pratt Street, Baltimore, MD 21202
Meat lovers the world over will naturally gravitate to Fogo de Chao! They have everything you could possibly want in one sitting. From pork loin to perfectly cooked steak, it is most assuredly worth a visit..or two..or three! After a dinner there including myself and some co-workers I was fully convinced that this was definitely the best food and service I have had in quite sometime.
When you first arrive expect to be escorted to your table and the chair pulled out for you. I know you’re probably saying “that’s standard at most restaurants” and you are right; however, at most restaurants that’s usually where it ends. At Fogo de Chao that’s just the beginning! You are waited on hand and foot and made to feel like you are the single most important customer there! Allow me to give you a run down of how it works.
After you are escorted to your table, you are given a quick orientation about the system. In short, you get a coaster card that is green on one side and red on the other. When you flip it to green be prepared to be presented with the best selection of meats you have ever seen. They are sliced right onto your plate and all you have to do is enjoy! When you have had enough or need a break just flip it to red so they will know to stop, at least temporarily.
If you want, before you take part in the meat extravaganza, you may help your self to an extensive salad bar with everything from smoked salmon to chicken salad. Since there is so much to choose from on the salad bar it can be kind of hard to pace yourself, so be sure to leave room! You should also know that you will not have the same waiter the entire time. You may see the same familiar face a few times but everyone chips in to make sure each table is completely satisfied. That took some getting used to but after a little while I adjusted, sat back, and enjoyed the service!
My coworkers and I were very pleased with the experience and actually my only complaint is that I can’t go more often. So the next time you are looking for a unique dinning experience I suggest you try Fogo de Chao!

I feel like I want to write this review to say that the Carrollton Inn in Baltimore is a lovely place and close to all you could want to do in Baltimore. My daughter was married in the courtyard recently. Some of the conditions and circumstances I felt really needed addressing and fixing. There was more than 1 wedding that weekend, yet the planters in the courtyard were totally bare. Their reason was that in the past plants had perished due to a late cold snap. It was May already. I say there is no excuse for bare planters when a wedding is scheduled. Plus, I ended up cleaning up cigarette butts and other trash in front of the ballroom walkway. But the thing that I found most upsetting was that the newlyweds got a call from the front desk at 6am to let them know that their makeup artist had arrived. They were unable to get back to sleep. No real recognition about how upsetting that mistake was to the couple. That lack of attention to detail and lack of really wanting to show how them how sorry they were for the screw up left me very disappointed in them. I guess my question to the management is how would you respond to this if you were on the receiving end and how would you like it to be treated?

This place was wonderful. We stayed in the Scholar's room on a Saturday evening. The location is excellent. Walking to Little Italy or the Inner Harbor is incredibly easy. The breakfast the next morning was very good too (I wouldn't say outstanding, but very good). The best part of this place was definitely our room. It was beautiful and very comfortable. It also had the most amazing bathroom. If you're visiting the Baltimore Inner Harbor area you should take a good, long, hard look at this place. You won't be disappointed.

I used this room for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in. I had the staff set up the rose petals and candles for when my husband and I returned. It's a great room with a spectacular bathroom. I love jacuzzi tubs! The staff were friendly and accomodating. I'm thinking of spending our one year anniversary here!

Horrible experiance had to park 3 blocks away and walk back to the room, room was unbearably hot so we had to open windows then could not sleep due to street noise, on duty staff was unprofessional and had no clue what to do, my wife and I signed up for a one hour massage each at the high cost of $250.00. I was expected to leave the room for my wife's one hour massage but there was nowhere to go except the lobby to stare at the walls. Her massage lasted 40 minuets due to the massuse setting up the table for 10 minuets then taking it down for 10 minuets. during the massage her neck was injured so I opted out of my massage but was charged anyway. After complaning to the manager I was told there was nothing he could do because the massuse was already paid, I am not even sure she was licensed by the state, very ignorant on customer relations. I had to dispute the charge on my credit card to get my money back for a massage I did not receive. my wife was completely dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the tub and shower, food was mediocre at best, Very bad experiance and no comfort from general manager. We will never go here again, save your money, $643.00 for one night of uncomfortable accomadations.

We had a lovely time at this very elegant, clean and quiet B&B in the heart of Baltimore. The location was perfect and everything was within walking distance. The breakfasts were excellent from the fresh fruit bowls, superb omelets, and delicious french toast. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We decided to try this inn for our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed by the luxurious accommodations we received. My husband even planned having the staff setup fresh flowers, votive candles and rose petals around our room while we were at dinner. We will surely return for our next stay in Baltimore!

My daughter and I went to Baltimore to visit schools. We did not care for Baltimore, but loved this B & B. The location is wonderful. We walked everywhere. The rooms and bathrooms are beautiful. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was GREAT. I looked forward to breakfast every morning. I cannot say enough good things about this place. A+++
